BEYOND CREATION Releases Official “Surface’s Echoes” Music Video via Ghost Cult

BEYOND CREATION comments: “‘Surface’s Echoes’ is one of our favourite songs to play off of ‘Algorythm,’ so we simply had to make a music video in a live setting with the track. Once again shot in our hometown of Montreal with Ismael Mossadeq as a director, we knew it would capture the highly powerful vibe that our city is notable for among touring metal bands. Enjoy, share, like and subscribe! Peace!”

Australia’s favourite musical misfits and legends of noughties Aussie hip-hop, Butterfingers are back with their outrageous and fittingly titled new album Bad News, out today, April 8. Confident and with more rapturous energy and piercing lyrical wit than ever before, the band’s first album in 14 years is bold and adventurous, while still retaining that classic, clever, inimitable Butterfingers sound. To celebrate the album’s release today, they have very kindly delivered another gold nugget of true blue entertainment in the form of a video for their new single – the album title track – Bad News, directed, filmed and edited entirely by lead singer and songwriter, Evil Eddie.

The performance video was shot during quarantine and provides an intimate look at both artists in their element. It gives off a feeling of unity with both artists standing together in self-isolation while pushing through. Alesso resides mixing and producing the record in LA and Liam Payne is performing the track on his rooftop in London overlooking the city and its sunset. Madge is the non-binary artist making weird experimental pop on new track ‘Ethanol’

“Inherited trauma as compulsive self-destruction. For every garbage fire I put out in my brain, I find myself dumping gasoline on another. I find myself wondering if I just accept this state of things. I created this song with Lecx Stacy who brought in the grit and grime to my vision. Mixed and mastered by Chance Lewis.” – Madge 2020

Arno Cost & Norman Doray unveil official video for feelgood house anthem ‘Darlin’

The madcap video tells the tale of a surrealist love story in which a Pinata couple attempt to evade a group of ravenous children during a national holiday. With sweets on their minds, the trio of teenagers break into the couple’s house cornering the Pinata’s as they track down sugar. The visuals lend themselves perfectly to the track’s vibrant, carefree vibes.

Describing the inspiration behind the new single, Templeman tells FLOOD: “”Happiness…” is the most colourful sugary disco-pop song I’ve put out so far. It came about so easily one day in the studio with Justin from the Vaccines and his right hand man Will and by the end of the day we knew we had something special on our hands. It’s a tough time for everyone right now so hope this brings a little happiness into people’s lives!”

Of the track Godin says: “The track was inspired by John Lautner, one of my favourite architects in the whole world who is renowned for his sensuous modernism. A great example of this is the Sheats-Goldstein residence. It’s the second house I worked on as part of Xavier Veilhan’s Architectones project. When I first visited the house in the hills of Los Angeles, I couldn’t find the road leading up to it. Driving round and round in circles, the synthesizer’s heady melody acts as an introduction to the track. I couldn’t part with this melody and it brought the following lyrics to life: “I am looking for a house made of concrete and glass”.
