LA-based band The Gutter Daisies released “American Pie”, their second single of 2020, out everywhere today.

“[The track] covers topics like depression and anxiety, the disconnect from connecting to social media, gun violence in schools, and how the people that can help just look the other way as if it‘s just an over-exaggerated false reality”, explains singer Doug Rockwell. “It’s all become too normal, while we advertise ourselves as the best place on earth. ‘Come on down, we know you’re just dying to try the ol’ American Pie!'”

Lil Baby’s latest album My Turn has earned over 1 billion global streams in only a few weeks, pushing his career total to a massive 13 billion global streams. “(Don’t Get) Physical” is a parody of Dua Lipa’s “Physical” that also features Loris (“The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula”, Season 1) as “Corona” with a cameo from Billboard artist Joey Suarez.

Broadway Cares, Three Square Food Bank (Southern Nevada’s largest hunger-relief organization) and MusiCares will each receive a $100,000 donation.

16-year-old acoustic rocker Ben Harrison releases debut EP ‘Capitulation’

Hailing from London, England, 16-year-old Ben Harrison is an acoustic singer-songwriter making the most of his teenage years, and doing things that stretch far beyond that aforementioned adolescence.

After only picking up the guitar for the first time back in October 2019, Ben has gone on to start writing and demoing his own tracks. Whilst starting out on an electric guitar, he switched to an acoustic where he has developed a unique style of songwriting, with melodic chord progressions that suit his flexible tone of voice. His main influences are Jake Bugg, Johnny Marr, Noel Gallagher, and Richard Ashcroft, to name a few.

The honor was announced today by Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden who inducted the recording along with two dozen others in the 2019 class of audio treasures worthy of preservation because of their cultural, historic and aesthetic importance to the nation’s recorded sound heritage. Each year, the National Recording Registry at the Library of Congress chooses recordings showcasing the range and diversity of American recorded sound heritage in order to increase preservation awareness.
