Deleo – “UNFAIR”, The Official Video Out Now

Unfair is representative of our sound – a hybrid of pop, rock and electro, as if these genres never split apart but remained a single, fused supercontinent. The track is a good way to discover our music. It’s a ballad, maybe our most subtly mutant song, one you can curl up in and sail away, as smooth as Black’s ‘Wonderful Life’ blended with Garbage and Archive.

Teaming up with his close collaborator and fellow Only The Family signee Memo600, JusBlow shares the video for “Drop A Bag.” The two emcees are at their snarling best in the new song, toe-tagging the creeping piano-led instrumental with blunt force and mathematic precision. In the video, the two rappers mob on 60th Street and King Drive, spitting fire alongside ski-masked associates. Sidny x Chaix – “Someone New”

We wrote “Someone New” to channel the dark, cold mood one goes through when dealing with an unexpected breakup. This was one of the first songs that we worked on together. It took some time to feel comfortable releasing something so personal.

“I was deep in thought reflecting on financial hardships, thinking of all the times my mom would motivate me,” notes Poe on the creating of “Pop Star.” “She would say ‘as long as you work hard, you can be whatever you want to be.’ I want to send that message to anyone listening to my song and remind them that their dreams aren’t out of reach.”

Jennah Barry Releases “Rocket” Single, Holiday Due March 27

Quote from Jennah: “Rocket is about acting on impulse and saying things you can’t take back.”

“Rocket” comes from the gorgeous Jennah Barry LP Holiday, coming March 2020 on Forward Music Group. Majorly recommended for fans of Andy Shauf, whose bandmate Colin Nealis produced the LP, the songs here are built to last, with echoes of those soft-rock classics often referred to as “AM gold.” Barry’s vocals are warm and weave through the arrangements with so much skill. The arrangements are full and pillowy but always pull up short of being cloying or overdone, more-so than the source material she’s referncing. This record is like catnip for me, honestly, just a true pleasure to listen to.

Armaan Malik Releases “Control” Via Arista Records

The single marks his first English-language song and first release on Arista Records. Armaan collaborated with industry vet, Wayne Wilkins (Natasha Bedingfield, Beyoncé) on the track. Liverpool, UK, artist LUNA: ‘5am’

LUNA’s feeling-driven production folds together sparse textures and glitch-skewed beats, creating tense atmospheres that underscore this artist’s keen ear for storytelling drama.

“‘Hello Earth’ is my introduction to the world. There are themes of love, loss, pain and acceptance. It’s a raw, emotional and honest account of the highs and lows of my early twenties, using nature and the elements to tell these stories. I hope you’ll find as much solace within it by listening to it, as I did making it.” – LUNA
