Other Lives are set to release their long-awaited new album For Their Love on ATO Records on April 24, and today the band shares their new single “Hey Hey I.” The track comes via a striking black-and-white video shot in the A-frame house studio in the Oregon mountains where the band recorded For Their Love. “The video is a reflection of the recording process of the album, that took place in the A-frame in the woods,” says frontman Jesse Tabish. “We wanted to portray this process in a natural, organic way, without telling a story but rather showing glimpses of us working together as well as coming together with friends.” Watch “Hey Hey I” HERE.

Heartfelt Kobe Bryant Tribute Rendered In Beautiful, Reverent New Song (Listen)

There’s a new song ascending into the heavens above Hollywood’s horizon, crowning the many touching tributes recently paid to late and legendary basketball superstar Kobe Bryant, who sadly, and tragically transitioned this life on January 26th at just 41 years of age, along with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, and seven other souls.

“Thinking ’bout Kobe Bryant, strong like a mighty lion…
Mamba, we love you. Oh Mamba, we love you.
More than a basketball star, he was a family man.
You’ll always be near in our hearts, always and forever.
We celebrate you, miss you, and we’ll never forget you…”

Arabnormal release explosive new single ‘Bubble’

After 3 albums Antwerp’s noisiest outfit The Hickey Underworld evaporated. They never announced a break up, they just ceased to be… but the genie’s back out of the bottle. Well sorta… Frontman and main songwriter Younes Faltakh is the sole survivor and teamed up with ex Das Pop member Niek Meul. The pair set up camp in Niek’s studio in Oslo and recorded 10 eccentric, mysterious and groovy tracks. Guitars do a lapdance wrapping their tormented strings around a worked-up rhythm section while Younes’ hoarse growl sounds as familiar as it does threatening.

NOTÖRIOUS New Single ‘Flying High’ – Out Today

Chris brings it all together with his sharp and crystal-clear vocals, reaching some high notes that could blow your head off. The song has a powerful chorus that will tempt you to sing along and have a good time. Nikki brings crisp and precise riffs to the song, but he also rips a face melting, shred fueled solo that’s still very tasty and melodic. Andy and Freddy make sure to keep the rhythm section tight and massive, driving the party feeling to the limit. To sum it up, this song will cure any bad mood and put you right in a rock and roll state!”

People Years Share Single “False Start” in Advance of April Release

“Echoing with the rattle and thump of bands like Pavement, Luna, and LCD Soundsystem, the work of Birmingham-based rock outfit People Years bristles with a wild confidence and posses the ability to easily dissolve the borders between the band’s collective influences. Built around the combined creativities of singer-guitarist Chris Rowell (Warm In the Wake, Sea Fix, King Lear Jet), keyboardist Tony Oliver (Sea Fix), bassist Greg Slamen (Cosmonaut on Vacation, Heath Green & The Makeshifters, Through The Sparks) and drummer Wes McDonald (Terry Ohms, Vulture Whale, The Ohms), People Years is something of a Southern supergroup, bringing together musicians who share a specific affection for dismantling familiar sounds.” – Beats Per Minute

Elrichman (Ducks Unlimited, Weaves, Alvvays) – Shares New Single

Emerging from the same scene as Kiwi Jr, Ducks Unlimited, and Ellis, ‘I Mostly Consume’ is a real standout from the album bringing with it an 80s jangle-pop feel, echoing the sounds of Prefab Sprout, Orange Juice and Sarah Records-signed acts such as The Field Mice. Cut alongside cascading string sections, the track dips and dives through an array of tempos whilst Paul lyrically tackles the album’s core concern: the notion that we only exist on this planet for the purpose of consuming.

I Break Horses Share New Track “Neon Lights”

Of the track Maria Lindén says: “An anthem for all of us who have ever felt like we didn’t fit in. It is trying to give a glimpse of hope to all outsiders who feel like they can’t find their way and to show the world that being a ‘misfit’ is a beautiful thing, not something to be pushed aside.”

Engel arrives part-inspired by Wim Wenders’ marvelously bleak Berlin-set 1987 fantasy film, ‘Wings of Desire’. Sonically inspired by the velvet tones of the film and its industrial landscape, Hardware locks into misty electronic textures, art-pop and vaporwave; a sound running in the same vein as that of Lust For Youth, The Soft Moon, and The KVB.
