Jake Isaac teams up with The Kingdom Choir for latest single ‘Tomorrow’

UK singer-songwriter Jake Isaac has unveiled his emotional new single ‘Tomorrow’, featuring London-based gospel choir The Kingdom Choir, out today.

An undeniably heart-string tugging release, ‘Tomorrow’ pairs The Kingdom Choir’s soaring vocals with sparse instrumentation and Isaac’s powerful, emotive lyrics that help us remember the important things in life. It follows on from sombre, heart-on-sleeve single ‘Thinkin Bout You’ and ‘New York’, an emotional ballad that found its way onto Spotify’s ‘New Music Friday’ playlist.

Boris Brejcha Delivers High-Energy EP Violet Pill

Marking his first release following January’s Space Diver LP, Violet Pill sees the German artist incorporate dark techno tones, striking build ups, and progressive elements for a transcendent listening experience. Opening with the high-octane soundscapes on ‘Babamba’, Brejcha immediately pulls audiences in before taking a more ambient turn with the four-on-the-floor track ‘On His Way’. The EP then makes a sonic shift with the title track ‘Violet Pill’, a melodic roller featuring pitched down vocals and a driving bassline.

Last summer saw the band release their debut album ‘Bad Luck Party’ (Frenchkiss Records) and today the band also share a video for the LP’s “Orchid.” It was shot guerrilla style while the band had a day off in Nashville during their 2019 North American tour. Directed by Nick Giumenti, it serves to capture the band in their natural habitat: road warriors. He notes, “We put everything together extremely quickly as they only had one day here in Nashville while on tour, but they were fantastic performers and fully willing to try some of my more adventurous ideas. Massive credit to them for being willing to show up early and film for 8 hours and then go play a kick ass show the same night.” Of the track Liddell notes, “‘Orchid’ represents an ongoing rhetoric about loss, subjugation, the strain of pursuing freedom in love and life itself.”
