Few projects at the forefront of contemporary art truly push visceral sonic boundaries in the way that Yves Tumor does. With an arc that impartially sits between psych-rock and modern pop, comparisons only serve as limitations intended to define that which cannot be. Yves Tumor melds restraint and chaos; diluting reality by giving meaning to the abstract and allowing for dissonance to be seen and heard as harmony. Today the next chapter begins with the announcement of the new album, Heaven To A Tortured Mind, set for release April 3rd on WARP.
Connecticut riff rock/retro metal unit LORD FOWL will release their Glorious Babylon full-length April 24th via Small Stone.
LORD FOWL took shape in New Haven in the summer of 2007 with one goal: to write songs like those they grew up hearing. Songs that drive you. Songs that come alive. Songs that rock. With Glorious Babylon, their third LP and second to see release via Small Stone Records, LORD FOWL refuses to compromise this high standard, bringing forth the energy of their dynamic stage presence and dual lead vocals, as the song-craft of singer/guitarists Vechel Jaynes and Mike Pellegrino reaches its next level of progression.

Multi-talented Brighton based music producer and photographer Benjamin Gordon will be releasing his debut album, Where Did We Get Lost, on April 3rd via Blurred Recordings.
Where Did We Get Lost sees Benjamin’s lyrics embrace vulnerable topics such as global and interpersonal conflict, the relationship with the self, disappointment, and love. ‘Sold My Heart’ chronicles making unwanted sacrifices for the sake of financial stability, ‘Take Me Home’ explores the desire to be taken away from a state of sadness and pain, and the title track unveils the role that irony can often play in the act of fighting.
Bullion shares new track ‘We Had A Good Time’
Nathan Jenkins shares the title-track from upcoming EP, We Had A Good Time, out 28th February on DEEK Recordings. It follows previous single, Hula; breezy, nostalgic pop underpinned by choral synths and a pseudo-bossa rhythm.
Co-written with Diego Herrera (Suzanne Kraft), We Had A Good Time was recorded during a dizzy spring in Lisbon, under the shadow of a hallucinogenic Datura tree in the garden of Nathan’s home studio.

Archers of Loaf return with “Raleigh Days”
“I built a birdhouse on the back of my van. The seeds of “Raleigh Days” were spit out of the circular opening on the front of this birdhouse by an angry cardinal. One day last summer, as we were barreling down the highway hell-bent for leather, this antagonistic little redbird stuck her head in through the back window and exclaimed, “Great songs often come out so easily that they practically write themselves. I tried to help you, but you idiots ruined it; and now you’re going to have to finish it all by yourselves!” Then, in a white-hot flash, we smashed head-on at 130 mph into an 18-wheeler carrying a herd of giant elk. It was all blood, fire, fur, and feathers snowing down through that old familiar smell of boiling oil and scorched earth. Fortunately—after I regained consciousness—I was able to make guitar picks from some shards of elk antler I found scattered around the accident site. It wasn’t planned per se, but it just kind of worked out that I used one of these picks to track my guitar part on “Raleigh Days,” and I think it sounds pretty good.”
2nd GENERATION WU releases spacy “New Generation”
When the birth of 2nd GENERATION WU (2GWU) was announced in late 2019 with the release of the stellar track “7.O.D.”, the new legacy of Wu-Tang Clan got off to a huge start. Fronted by iNTeLL (son of U-God) and PXWER (son of Method Man), 2GWU woke up the Hip Hop world while exclaiming “God Made Everything Around Me”.
addy share triumphant ode to the self, “Eclipse”
The album’s triumphant apex “Eclipse” turns addy’s reflections inward in an entrancing, climactic ode to the self, punctuated with notes of optimism and hope. At its climax, “Eclipse” transitions to an odd-timed coda of syncopated punches erupting over Watkins’s arrival at peace with their self and where they are.

Elrichman – project of Paul Erlichman
The new record under the Elrichman moniker is Paul’s first since 2014’s Young, Healthy and Wonderful and follows his recent work as part of Goosebump (formerly Germaphobes), as well as bass duties in Toronto’s Ducks Unlimited. Erlichman enlisted a whole host of Toronto talent for the new record too – Alex Gamble (Fucked Up, Alvvays) provides the production with further contributions coming from Zach Bines (Weaves) and Jon Pappo (Hooded Fang), as well as the Boston-based Anh Phung (Twisted Pine).
Recorded and mixed by Travis Bacon, mastered by Dan Lowndes at Resonance Sound Studio, and completed with artwork by the band, Choir Of Babel promises to be one of the harshest titles ever to be issued under the 20 Buck Spin banner. Whether one classifies this under the banner of death metal, black metal, war metal, or any other extreme metal subgenre, the suffocating savagery of RUIN LUST has no remorse for destruction left in its wake, only more cruelty.
The song stems from their upcoming split with fellow Miami band Palomino Blond out March 13th on BuFu Records. Inspired by the critically-acclaimed documentary, 13th, “Demonize” highlights the band’s textured blend of slow gazing vocals and crunchy guitars that feel akin to the greats of the ’90s like The Breeders and Lush.

Peri El Releases New Video For “Slow Down”
As a Co-Director of the video, Peri wanted to tell the true life story of the track. “The story of the song is about having my rights taken away from my music, and taking a stand to get them back. And ultimately living my life the way I planned!,” explains Peri. In the video we see Peri realize that she doesn’t have to settle, and that once you slow down, things come into a better perspective. “Look around and make sure that what is happening is in your control and at your speed,” Peri encourages.

Shade “Drive Me Wild” New Video
“this song is an unconscious personal soundtrack to the varying emotions felt on a daily basis. it takes a journey from dark, introverted self-questioning before exploding into a light of extroverted self-acceptance. “Drive Me Wild” is about not getting bogged down by the external bullshit that’s thrown your way.”

Between establishing himself as an award-winning television composer/producer and associate professor at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Danny McIntyre has turned his desire to tell stories through music into a career. Behind the scenes though, the producer/composer was in the midst of a creative realization.
While his day jobs fulfilled him, McIntyre saw a new crop of students beginning to explore the limits of storytelling through EDM, the connective tissue between electronic production and film scoring becoming more obvious along the way. After a few classes, McIntyre wanted to make music on his own terms again.
After one of Camden’s busiest years to date, yet another musical gem has arrived in the form of Cox’s brand new single ‘Healing’. Opus Vitae shares melancholy track “Chasing Ducks”
Opus Vitae is the moniker of Banah Winn, an artist who much like Kevin Parker of Tame Impala, composes and records everything solo. As someone who places all the work on himself, Banah is a man of much contemplation and emotional discovery. In a similar discourse to Tame Impala, listeners can find themselves lost in the seemingly simple nuances that build into greater intricacies of the mind. Opus Vitae means “life’s work,” something Banah wants to capture and create all while living within the moment.
