Hailey Whitters Shares New Song “Happy People” Ahead of ‘The Dream’ out 2/28

Today, the Iowa-born, Nashville-based singer and songwriter Hailey Whitters shared a new song “Happy People” ahead of her highly anticipated new album The Dream that will be released on February 28, 2020. The song was co-written with Grammy Award-winning songwriter Lori McKenna and was recorded by Little Big Town in 2017.

Heart Bones released the video for “Open Relations,” the first single off of their upcoming LP, Hot Dish, out February 21st on Love OnLine Records. The spacey video was premiered with Austin360. The luminous pop duo of Sean Tillmann (Har Mar Superstar) and Sabrina Ellis (A Giant Dog/Sweet Spirit) created a nostalgic, hilarious and visually stunning concept on a far-out one sided open relationship.

Christopher Paul Stelling Releases New Album ‘Best of Luck’

On Friday, Americana folk guitarist Christopher Paul Steling released his fifth studio album, Best of Luck. The album was produced by Ben Harper, who has previously produced records by Mavis Staples, Rickie Lee Jones, The Blind Boys of Alabama and more, and recruited an all-star rhythm section with Jimmy Paxson (Stevie Nicks, Dixie Chicks) on drums and upright bass player Mike Valerio (Randy Newman, LA Philharmonic) to lend a versatility and finesse. “I really believe this record is the intersection where folk and soul meet,” Harper says.

Nashville-based Americana singer-songwriter Jess Jocoy is set to release her debut full-length album, Such a Long Way, on April 10, 2020. The album was produced by Michael Rinne (Miranda Lambert) and Dylan Alldredge (Mary Gauthier, Joy Williams, Leon Bridges) and recorded at Skinny Elephant Recording in Nashville. With a crystalline veracity in her uniquely authentic songs, Jocoy constructs eloquent narratives that drift between the poetic and the conversational, which some have called “Jason Isbell meets Emmylou Harris.”
