Tisoki Is Joined By Emo Rap Pioneer LiL Lotus on Genre-Bending Single “Promise”

A staple within the bass music scene, UK-native producer Tisoki is starting the new decade with a bang. Fresh off a NYE performance at Insomniac’s Countdown festival, Dim Mak producer Tisoki is joined by emo rap pioneer LiL Lotus on “Promise,” a boundary-free composition that integrates elements of bass music with the passion and vulnerabilities of LiL Lotus’ emotive vocals. “Promise” follows Tisoki’s recent single “IT’S OK” and is the second look at the producers’ forthcoming sophomore EP, which is due to drop just in time for festival season. Tisoki is bringing this new material on the road via his newly-announced five month North American Tour, which kicked off January 24th in Dallas, TX.

Earlier today, Los Angeles-based songwriter Mercury Slim debuted “Polka Dot Shoes” and “Fade to Blue,” the first two songs from his upcoming debut LP out later this year.

Giulia ‘Slide Away’ (Miley Cyrus Cover)

Following the success of her sultry alt-pop releases titled ‘Trippin’ in 2019, singer-songwriter Giulia is taking 2020 up another notch with not only a sleek and sophisticated cover version of Miley Cryus’ ‘Slide Away’, but also the promise that big things are coming too.

Taking to Instagram to share the ‘Slide Away’ cover song to her 2,000 strong social media following, the 3 minute video is a raw rendition of the smash Cyrus single. Glazed over with a monochrome themed filter, Giulia’s attention grabbing nature and sleek vocals are the star of the show, more so than the choice of song itself.

However, it’s the second part of this post that has put people on the edge of anticipation for new music from Giulia. Teasing fans with the caption “Had a lovely session yesterday. Preparing for something big”, it seems Giulia is gearing up for the release of her two accompanying tracks ‘Lolita’ and ‘Love To Hate You’ as part of the trilogy of visuals teased around the time of ‘Trippin’.
