Sheffield’s SHEAFS have announced the release of their debut EP “Vox Pop”, due out March 6th on Blood Records (Dream Wife, The Blinders, The Amazons etc.).
Fresh from selling out her London headline show at Servant Jazz Quarters – UK soul-crossover artist Nia Wyn announces her debut EP ‘Love I Can’t Ruin’, released alongside the title track from the EP. A vintage soul-R&B sound is given a modern kick in ‘Love I Can’t Ruin’, where Nia’s gritty vocals deals with the early stages of love where we all hide our worst selves.
Royal Deceit releases fiery and catchy third single ‘Bite the Curb’

Renowned German DJ and producer Boris Brejcha has unveiled his hotly anticipated new album Space Diver, out now via Ultra Music.

A Sweden-based singer/songwriter, self-taught guitarist and rising music producer with a longtime passion for creating art of various forms, music being just one of them. She first got her start in the music industry by playing gigs at local pubs and restaurants in her late teens. In 2015 she auditioned for Swedish Idol and was handed a golden ticket by the judges. Although her run in the competition was short-lived, she was happy to have made it to top 25 and never it let it discourage her from continuing to make music.

New single by Sultans of String – El Bint El Shalabeya
This very fresh arrangement of an ancient traditional Lebanese song is also a musical tribute to Dick Dale who passed away in March, 2019. Dale was known as “The King of the Surf Guitar” who drew on Middle Eastern music scales in his arrangements (his father was of Lebanese descent). Sultans of String fleshed out this arrangement with the incredible string playing of Gündem Yayli Grubu, a Turkish Roma string group in Istanbul. They also brought in Syrian refugee Majd Sekkar, Algerian mandole player Fethi Nadjem, and Greek oud player Demetrios Petsalakis, who all now find their home in Canada.
Nadia Vaeh Releases Poignant and Personal Alt-Pop Single “Boomerang”
“When trapped in this relationship, I was broken,” explains Nadia Vaeh. “This song is about being stuck in a cycle of negative thoughts and behaviors.” The title is a metaphor for how the abused partner in a relationship can feel compelled to keep coming back despite their better judgment. The second verse, however, suggests a turning point, “Can’t keep this circle alive — still dizzy from the last try; time to live with no fear.” Vaeh, who was able to move away from the relationship and change her life for the better, wants to inspire others to do the same.

Elephant Stone Release New Single “We Cry For Harmonia”
For the “We Cry For Harmonia” video, I wanted to make a series of animations that would take you through the music. The song itself is like riding a smooth wave through time. I wanted to make sure the visual elements had a similar feel to bring you through to the other side. This was a really fun project to work on. A few of my favourite cell animated clips came out of this. I’m really excited to see it released. Thank you Rishi and Elephant Stone for letting me be a part of this.

Ismay Announces Debut LP ‘Songs of Sonoma’ Out February 21st, Shares New Track Via American Songwriter
California based singer-songwriter, Ismay, has announced the official release date of their upcoming debut album, Songs of Sonoma out February 21st. With this announcement Ismay shared “A Song In Praise Of Sonoma Mountain,” the first song on the record that immerses the listener into the region they fell in love with. Songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Ethan Gruska releases his highly anticipated second solo album, En Garde, today via Warner Records. Old Patterns makes use of the dark, melodic, and dissonant melodies that give an eerie sense of an emotional breakdown of rational reality. Grinding, fierce drums pave the way to the riffs that serve as a metronome for the stream of consciousness that is laid out on the drums. Perfectly placed and chilling vocals fill out the chaos.
