Out Today: Pigeons Playing Ping Pong releases ‘Presto,’ their 5th studio record

“Life in the U.S. is pretty heavy and it’s sometimes hard to escape the drama. But Pigeons Playing Ping Pong want you to try. The Maryland jam band subscribes to the lighthearted approach of heavyweights Phish, writing and performing songs that are meant to offer a respite from the daily grind. Even the band’s alliterative name is a sign that they prioritize fun.” – Rolling Stone Country

Elephant Stone Release New Single “We Cry For Harmonia”

For the “We Cry For Harmonia” video, I wanted to make a series of animations that would take you through the music. The song itself is like riding a smooth wave through time. I wanted to make sure the visual elements had a similar feel to bring you through to the other side. This was a really fun project to work on. A few of my favourite cell animated clips came out of this. I’m really excited to see it released. Thank you Rishi and Elephant Stone for letting me be a part of this.

The Cadillac Three release new track ‘Dirt Road Nights’

The Cadillac Three have revealed another brand new song, ‘Dirt Road Nights’. The track is taken from their upcoming album Country Fuzz, set for release on February 7th.

The band have turned their volume dials down just a bit and strummed their guitars a little softer for this understated slow jam. Reminiscing on old times as they gaze back on hazy, simpler times, The Cadillac Three guide you through a vast starry soundscape, with the windows down and their feet up on the dash as their stripped back country vibes flow through the air. Grab a beer, sit back and let ‘Dirt Road Nights’ work its magic.

ETHAN GRUSKA’S NEW ALBUM ‘EN GARDE’ OUT NOW

Songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Ethan Gruska releases his highly anticipated second solo album, En Garde, today via Warner Records. Each of the twelve compositions that comprise En Garde tell a vivid story both lyrically and melodically, filtered through Ethan’s sophisticated “pop” vocabulary and vision. Ethan utilizes conventional instruments including guitars, bass, keyboards, drums, occasional brass and strings, but also manipulates the studio itself as an instrument to create aural textures and sounds to articulate his dreamy sonic palette of playful and exotic depth of classic pop possibilities.

ORPHAN DONOR: “Pole Disdain” Now Playing At Cvlt Nation

ORPHAN DONOR’s sound is reminiscent of mostly early 2000s screamo and metalcore era, with influences taken from PG99, As The Sun Sets, Jerome’s Dream, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Examination Of The…, Orchid, and even Deftones. Old Patterns makes use of the dark, melodic, and dissonant melodies that give an eerie sense of an emotional breakdown of rational reality. Grinding, fierce drums pave the way to the riffs that serve as a metronome for the stream of consciousness that is laid out on the drums. Perfectly placed and chilling vocals fill out the chaos.
