ART D’ECCO – DEBUTS “I’LL NEVER GIVE YOU UP” VIDEO
Enigmatic electro-glam androgyne Art d’Ecco is excited to share “I’ll Never Give You Up,” his first original single since his unforgettable 2018 LP Trespasser (Paper Bag Records). The track and its accompanying video debuted via FLOOD Magazine, who called the song “a beat-heavy track as reminiscent of The Human League as it is of Art d’Ecco’s contemporaries Drab Majesty.”

The Front Bottoms have announced a one-off performance at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom set for April 17th. Pre-sale tickets for the show – which marks the band’s largest headline performance ever – are available now via The Front Bottoms’ fan club, with an additional Citi pre-sale launching at 12:00PM ET today. Live Nation and Brooklyn Vegan pre-sales will begin Wednesday, January 22nd at 10:00AM ET, with all remaining tickets going on-sale Friday, January 24th at 10:00AM ET.

““Back Lane” was self-produced. We recorded it with John Dinsmore, who also mixed the track. His studio, Lincoln County Social Club in Toronto, is a funky space that feels like home to us. The track builds from beginning to end, and culminates in a guitar solo that serves as a cathartic release.”

At the same time I was reading Sarah Perry’s gothic, Victorian novel ‘The Essex Serpent’ about a fabled beast that stalks the Essex backwaters. Both these tales came together to help me finish the song.”
The Growlers announce summer 2020 tour
Los Angeles underground indie favorites The Growlers have announced “part one” of a Summer 2020 North American tour. The 13-date trek is part of the band’s perpetual tour cycle and launches with a pair of rare Oklahoma shows (6/3 Tulsa + 6/4 OKC) and their long overdue, first headline at the legendary Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater, Austin, Texas (6/5). The tour also features the band’s first Bonnaroo play since 2015 (6/13) and a two-night stand at Webster Hall, New York City (6/18 + 6/19). General tickets go on sale January 24, 10AM PT.
