The follow up to her debut EP Ffrwydrad Tawel (2017, Recordiau Neb) is the culmination of over four years developing her own sound and visionary artistry. With its tapestry of electronic sounds, elliptical melodies and samples threaded into a song cycle, MIRORES is based around the idea of movement and progress – one which takes us on a journey around her hometown of Cardiff. You can hear Ani’s recorded sounds of the urban landscape throughout; the movement of traffic and people and the magical yet infrequent sounds of nature coming together to create the score of a city’s symphony.

Wiley kicks off 2020 with hard-hitting new single ‘Mazza’, out 17th January via his own imprint CTA Records.

As uncompromising as ever, ‘Mazza’ sees Wiley in a typically hyperactive mood as he lays down a barrage of quickfire bars. The track also features a verse from West London MC, Scruffizer. It marks the first single release from Wiley’s forthcoming Godfather 3 album.

ALA.NI Releases New Single and Video “Papa”

Today, the UK-born, Paris-based artist ALA.NI released her new single and video “Papa” off of her upcoming sophomore full-length ACCA (out January 24th). So far the album has been acclaimed by NPR Music, The FADER, Vibe, Flaunt Magazine, and Nylon, who described “Papa,” as “a percussive, chant-like track that orbits around a hypnotic central line.”

Bonded Debut Album ‘Rest In Violence’ Out Now

German thrash metal band BONDED, which features former Sodom members Bernd “Bernemann” Kost (Guitars) and Markus “Makka” Freiwald (Drums), are releasing their debut album Rest In Violence today worldwide via Century Media Records. The band also features second guitarist Chris Tsitsis (ex-Suicidal Angels), bassist Marc Hauschild and vocalist Ingo Bajonczak (Assassin). With the release of Rest In Violence, the band have created nothing short of a highly versatile and hard-hitting thrash metal debut together with producer Cornelius Rambadt (Sodom, Disbelief, Onkel Tom) at the Rambado Recording Studio in Essen, Germany. The album’s artwork was created by Björn Gooßes / Killustrations (Aborted, The Crown, Carnal Forge).

GZ Tian reveals new single ‘Moody Kid’

Rising Chinese-English singer/songwriter and producer GZ Tian has announced his forthcoming ‘Another Artist’ EP, due out 27th March via Believe Digital. GZ Tian has also shared the first single and music video from the EP called ‘Moody Kid’, out today.

‘Moody Kid’ is an emotionally-charged slice of modern hip-hop, paired with a lo-fi, psychedelic music video which shows Tian giving an effortless performance of his new track. GZ Tian’s latest serving follows his 2018 debut single, ‘Laid Back’ and is a strong display of his genre-bending sound, anticipating what’s to come from his upcoming project.

CHARLI ADAMS releases reflective, folk-tinged new cut ‘Cloverland Drive’

Growing up in Alabama, Adams made the transition from cheerleader to passionate songwriter early on in high school. With few musicians, fewer concerts and family that belonged to a deeply conservative church, the alt-rocker resorted to playing secret shows in cafes and coffee shops. At age 16 she left high school and moved to Nashville where she immersed herself in the underground scene and began creating a wealth of material unbecoming of her adopted hometown.

Ben Watt Releases “Summer Ghosts”

“Summer Ghosts” is the latest single to be released from musician-writer-DJ Ben Watt’s upcoming fourth solo LP, Storm Damage, out on January 31, 2020. New Empress Of for ‘The Turning Original Motion Picture Soundtrack’

The Turning Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is out a week from today and here’s the next track from it via Los Angeles singer/producer Empress Of for “Call Me”. In keeping with the 90s world created for the movie by director Floria Sigismondi and within the rest of the soundtrack produced by Lawrence Rothman and Yves Rothman, “Call Me” is a slice of 90s pop nostalgia reminiscent of The Cure meets The Cranberries. Lawrence Rothman who wrote the song with Empress Of and Yves Rothman explains “When writing the track with Lorely, Yves and I had the idea of writing something that was dreamy and processional; the movie’s swan song. it became a track that Floria Sigismondi used on set a lot to set the mood when shooting the scenes of the dreamlike limbo that the ghost Ms. Jessel is trapped in.”
