Kungs drops confident new single ‘Paris’
French DJ and producer Kungs has unveiled new single ‘Paris’, out now via Universal.
Kungs’ first release of 2019, ‘Paris’ is a polished, emotionally-tinged slice of electronica. A mature sound with lots of depth, the track is a statement of intent from this exciting young artist.
Claye’s songwriting gift has resulted in him writing hits for the likes of Sean Paul, Chip and Aloe Blacc, but the UK-based,Kingston-born artist has put the spotlight back on himself. His recent singles ‘Murda’ and ‘Forever’ have picked up support at radio and press alike, with Kiss Fresh, 1Xtra, House of Solo and Clash all highlighting Claye’s undeniable talent.
Swedish mastermind Johan Angergård has released six albums and numerous singles under his The Legends moniker since the 00’s. He’s now working on a series of singles and possibly an album.
Johan is a member of Acid House Kings, Djustin, Pallers and, yes… one half of the duo Club 8. So what makes this a The Legends single and not Club 8? Well, THIS particular one is unmistakingly legendary…

TOKYO TEA ROOM unveil hazy psych-pop EP ‘Dream Room’ via A Certain Kind Records
Tokyo Tea Room release the ‘Dream Room’ EP today via A Certain Kind Records. Vibrant synths, glimmering guitars and addictive rhythm section grooves combine to provide a bed for Beth Plumb and Daniel Elliot’s airy, ethereal vocals across four quintessential examples of their hazy psych-pop sound. Occupying a similar space to the collegiate bedroom indie of MUNYA, Men I Trust or Far Caspian as well as taking cues from Tame Impala, DIIV, Air and Mazzy Star.

After the launch of her track ‘Bad News Baby’, Finnish, highlighter haired superstar ALMA teams up with Digital Farm Animals to bring us ‘Bad News Baby (DFA remix)’
The English DJ, producer and Digital Farm Animals, who has worked with the likes of Noah Cyrus, Louis Tomlinson, Dua Lipa and Little Mix, has reworked the track, which was originally produced by friend and co-writer Al Shux (Jay Z, Snoop Dogg, Nas, Kendrick Lamar, Lana Del Ray) and written by Alma, Joe Janiak (Ellie Goulding, Tove Lo, Britney Spears) and Al Shux.

Some of the shows we played in ’18 were the best ones we’ve ever done in the 15 year history of the band so I was definitely looking forward to write new songs.”
“JAGGED LITTLE PILL (ORIGINAL BROADWAY CAST RECORDING)” features all-new renditions of songs originally featured on Alanis Morissette’s groundbreaking 1995 debut album co-written by Glenn Ballard – including such hits as “You Oughta Know,” “Hand In My Pocket,” and “Ironic” – along with other selections from her extensive catalog, and two new songs – “Smiling” and “Predator” – written expressly for the musical by Morissette & Michael Farrell. Calista Kazuko New Album ‘Empress’
Today is the release of Calista Kazuko’s album Empress. It’s a been a monster in the works with a number of supporting videos along the way. The concept is all about different Empress’ in time within each track, all set with their own unique twist. The album is charismatic, cinematic and glorious all in one.
“‘This Room’ expresses a softer side to the same toxic relationship I was in,” Alfreda says. “I really wanted to make things work, and in the chorus I devotedly express this, but in the verses I slowly start to compile all the reasons it was never going to work. In terms of the structure of the song, I wanted all the verses to have a different melody and style to give the feeling of something progressing. But the chorus always stays the same, as that message never goes away.”
Vianni delivers video for infectious new single ‘YOU’
UK singer-songwriter Vianni has now unveiled his new single ‘YOU’, out today.
A combination of irresistibly smooth vocals and delicate, weightless production, ‘YOU’ sees Vianni serenading his new lover in his own special way. The accompanying official video depicts this romance in real time, a perfect visual representation of the track’s vibe.
It follows on from previous single ‘PLT’, a similarly smooth single that marked his return from a short hiatus. Both tracks will feature on forthcoming EP Home Run, out next month.
