Rushmore’s pioneering club label Trax Couture have recruited multi-faceted South African visual artist Umlilo for new single, ‘Qakhuva’, which is available at all DSPs now.

‘Qhakuva’ sees Umlilo collaborate with producer Jumping Back Slash to fire out sharp, metronomic rap verses, tempered by smooth, silky harmonies – sung in Xhosa – over dark, brooding, synth-heavy patterns.

The career of Gary Moore was a jagged timeline, full of twists, turns and wild tangents. And yet, through it all, the Irishman never lost faith in the power of live music. On December 2nd, 2009 – just fourteen months before his tragic death aged 58 – the fabled guitarist played a special one-off club show at London’s Islington Academy. Now, 10 years later Provogue, a division of the Mascot Label Group, will be releasing this never before released recording, Live From London on January 31st, 2020.

Following the recent announcement of their career spanning, Teenage Wildlife: 25 Years Of Ash, the Irish trio are pleased to share a brand new video montage for Petrol. The track originally released in 1994, was part of the early triumvirate of classic singles alongside Jack Names The Planets and Uncle Pat all of which were included on the band’s mini-album Trailer.

Written by the band’s primary songwriter, singer and guitarist Tim Wheeler, one of a batch of songs composed whilst in his mid-teens and still at school – the nascent trio were invited on tour by Elastica, their first major dates across the UK including a debut show at London’s Astoria Theatre that was to be witness to some of their finest moments over the years.

North London’s Sorry have today revealed “Rock ‘n’ Roll Star”, the B-side to their latest single “Right Round The Clock”. The two tracks make up a new 7″ single that will be released November 29, laying the groundwork for the group’s debut album, 925, coming spring 2020.

“Oh” is Matthew Mell’s debut single. Produced by musician and producer Ran Nir (ex Asaf Avidan & The Mojos / LFNT).

The song is a beautiful soft indie-folk ballad that takes you on a trip through Mell’s traveling life with touching acoustic guitars and a great almost tribal beat, and on top of all Mell’s unique voice! It’s very hard to not listen a second and third time right away.
