Of the song, Lewis explains, “When you’re in love for the first time, nothing else matters, at least that’s how it was for me. I got so sucked up that it was all I cared about and after it ended I felt like I didn’t have anything anymore. This song ended up capturing one of the most beautiful moments of my life because after it, I saw with complete clarity. I started caring about everything that’s important to me, not just hanging on to a feeling. This song is a turning point, the end of one path and the start of another.”

Lenkie inspires awe with second single “Waterfall”

The inspiration for “Waterfall” was unrequited love. Born out of a massive crush that could never work out, I instead took to daydreaming about the possibility of it all. “Waterfall” is a song outlining and detailing the parallel universe where we are together and intertwined, where there’s nothing beyond the feel of our bodies existing on the same plane. I think about “Waterfall” as the aftermath of Flower Girls. We’ve left our void of a town and all the darkness with it, and now there’s nothing left to do except enjoy the limitless company of each other.

Parkway Drive Announce ‘Viva The Underdogs’ – A Documentary Film

“We have always taken pride in doing things our way,” says vocalist Winston McCall. “For over fifteen years we have stayed true to ourselves in a world of extremes. We are not the story of shooting star super stardom, we are not the overnight breakout success, we will never be viral and we sure as hell won’t break the internet. But we have a vision, and we have lived for it, worked for it, bled for it, grown for it and broken for it. We have sacrificed everything and compromised nothing. This is an honest insight into what it takes to survive as the underdogs. Thank you for being part of the story”
