Roosevelt — née Marius Lauber — today released a new remix EP, Midnight Versions Pt. 2, and announced a U.S. DJ tour that finds the Cologne, Germany-based artist and producer embracing his penchant for dance floor-ready hooks. Following high profile remixes of Charlotte Gainsbourg, Rhye and CHVRCHES, the Midnight Versions Pt. 2 EP features 3 remixes of his recent album, Young Romance. Lauber explains, “With Midnight Versions Pt. 2 I wanted to show the dancefloor influence on the album, and turn the tracks into longer edits, with more time to breathe and evolve.”

Today, singer-songwriter Dove Cameron shares two original songs, “Waste” and “Bloodshot.” Listen to both tracks, available now via Disruptor Records / Columbia Records. Dove co-wrote “Waste” with Delacey (Halsey) and Jonas Jeberg (Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Jonas Brothers) and “Bloodshot” with William Zaire Simmons and Downtown Trevor Brown (Lizzo). The releases mark Dove’s first offering of original music to fans.

In the past 12 months Delta Sleep have released their second album, Ghost City, plus a Record Store Day EP of rarities (featuring guest vocals from Tricot) and played over 100 shows, including two sold out headline tours of the US, a whole host of festivals and supported Mineral across Europe for their 20th anniversary dates. The touring ended on the last day of June, so of course they went straight to a studio on July 1st to secretly record a new EP.

James Wesley Announces Release of “You Should Be Here With Me”
Today, Brooklyn-based quartet Desert Sharks share their debut album, Baby’s Gold Death Stadium, out now on all streaming platforms. Earlier this week, Talkhouse premiered the record, in full, ahead of its official release, and shared an exclusive interview with the band. The band is currently out on an East Coast Tour run in support of the debut LP, and will be returning home to Brooklyn for their album release show at The Broadway this Saturday evening, with support from New Myths and Nevva. Internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter and pianist Judith Owen will release a timely and heartbreaking new single, “I Still Dream of America,” on September 27. Cologne, Germany’s electronic duo COMA today shared a video for new single “Bits and Pieces”—a track laced with 90’s indietronica and dream pop influences—off their forthcoming album Voyage Voyage. The clip features time-lapse footage of the assembly of a COMA puzzle, which was custom crafted for the band by Germany’s puzzle making legends, Ravensburger.

Earlier this month, nothing,nowhere. and Travis Barker shared the track “TRUE LOVE,” following the EP’s first single “DESTRUCTION,” which debuted with an official video this past August on The FADER. nothing,nowhere. detailed the collaboration to The FADER explaining, “Travis has been a huge influence on me my whole life. He is the reason I became interested in tattoos at a young age and was also one of the main reasons I decided to start learning how to play instruments. Working with him was some of the most fun I’ve had making music. it was just an organic process, it reminded me of hanging at a friend’s house when I was younger and just creating to create.”

Metallica tops LIVE75 for the sixth time this year, taking the No. 1 ranking with a mammoth sold-ticket average of 47,342 from shows in Europe at three stadiums and two outdoor concert sites. The band’s two September shows at San Francisco’s Chase Center also contribute to the average that is more than twice that of the No. 2 touring artist, Zac Brown Band, charting with a 10-show ticket average of 20,060.
