TC Superstar Release Deluxe Extended Version of R&D via Indie Current
TC Superstar is a collaborative performance group fronted by Connor McCampbell. McCampbell’s production style is rooted in modern bedroom pop, but alludes to 80’s synthwave (Depeche Mode, New Order) and late 70’s dance music (Chic, David Bowie). TC Superstar’s live set features high-energy dance performances choreographed by LB Flett, Emily DiFranco, Francis Rodriguez, and Yuriko Roby — all graduates of the dance program at The University of Texas at Austin. Performing musicians include Julio Correa, Mitchell Webb, and Aaron Chavez.
CHROME WAVES: Cvlt Nation Premieres “Spirits Descend” As The Cold Light Of Despair Nears Release Through Disorder Recordings
Featuring the previously-released single “Bound,” Slowdive cover “When The Sun Hits,” and Nirvana cover “Something In The Way,” The Cold Light Of Despair also features the new original tracks “Spirits Descend” and “Slow Refrain,” as well as a cover of Nick Cave’s Push The Sky Away.” In addition to CHROME WAVES’ James Benson (guitar/vocals), Jeff Wilson (bass, guitar, synth, vocals), and Jon Siren (drums), The Cold Light Of Despair features guest contributions of cello from Kakophonix, vocals from Kim Dylla, and bass from Daren Alan. All tracks were engineered by James Benson and Jeff Wilson, and all previously released material has been remixed and remastered by Wilson, who also handled the album’s cover photography and layout.

BarbiewithKens was heavily influenced by Dan Bilzerian, a social media influencer whose Instagram page is awash with photos of half necked women baying for the Internet personality’s attention.
