Mike Monroe drops new visuals for latest track “Fed Up”

Singer/Songwriter, Mike Monroe, enters the RnB game and promises to deliver, “The Return of RnB”. Reminiscent of “Ol School RnB” from Luther to Babyface; Teddy P to R. Kelly; with a hint of Jodeci.

Monroe’s first EP “Addicted” fed your addictions, and now with his new single he’s “Fed Up!”

“As a child I remember, my father telling me “I was born to be a STAR!! He said, “We named you “Michael”, because every Michael out there was the Baddest MF on the planet!!! Michael Jackson, Michael Jordan, and Mike Tyson. He just knew I was going to be athletic or creative; I chose the latter.

Growing up in the South, the church is where Monroe (Real Name “MikeJones”) began cultivating his musical talents. By the age of 10, hehad already belted out his first church solo. By his teen years, Monroe had enlisted in a neighborhood R&B quartet, 4Play, who modeled themselves after Boyz II Men and Jodeci. During this time, he would also lend his voice to The Georgia Mass Youth for Christ’ GrammyNominated Album and Single, “Higher”. Soon after, upon theinsistence of his high school mentor, Brenda Powell, he would go on toperform Luther Vandross’ “Here and Now”, independently of his group, to a roaring audience of his peers. From that moment on, Monroe knew the stage was where he belonged.
