Shoreline Mafia Tear Up the Tropics in the Wavy “Caribbean” Video

Burning up the West Coast and beyond with their electric chemistry, Shoreline Mafia work hard and function even harder. Heading down to the tropics to spread their signature brand of turn-up, the L.A. rap collective shares “Caribbean,” a new music video. With an ethereal, head-nodding production from longtime Shoreline sound architect Ron-Ron, “Caribbean” is a lyrical showcase for OhGeesy and Rob Vicious, who dish out internal rhyme after internal rhyme: “I’m like Wheezy but I’m ‘Geesy, I be runnin’ ’round on fire/My lil’ juvie keep the Uzi, and it’s always right beside him,” rhymes OhGeesy.

In the video, OhGeesy and Fenix Flexin head to Hawaii, an ocean away from the Caribbean but with a similar island vibe, and taking a tour of the parts of the Aloha State that don’t show up in tourism books. Meanwhile, back in L.A., Rob Vicious has the time of his life at a local club. “Caribbean” is the latest video from Shoreline’s Party Pack Vol. 2, following the Fenix Flexin-featuring “Fell In Love” (5+ million YouTube views).
