Medicine is the sophomore effort of Portland based outfit, TENTS. It is a fist fight between melancholy and resolve.
Medicine sounds like an indie record that was made in the Northwest. The hooks, the production, and the sensibilities are of the fold. The sentiment, however, is not. It is on the front foot. It is brave, celebratory, and intent. In Medicine, TENTS departs.

The songs are written through a lens of faith and mission and pull from this unexpected and wild story, and from my experiences working with youth and trying to understand and express solutions for the challenges that young people are facing today.”

The Lows – Love Xtinction (Official Music Video)
“We thought it would be great to bring viewers into the studio where we actually recorded the song at, Pearl Sound Studios. It really is a magical place. So many legendary artists have recorded there. So we shot some video of us performing the song together in the huge ambient drum room to capture the energy we bring to the stage and mixed in various shots of the band during the actual recording process. We wanted to have a playful mood to the video to translate how much fun we have together when we perform and record.” – Angelo Coppola

Cigarette Smoke was inspired by an abusive relationship & the confusion that comes with being in love with your abuser. This track is a really beautiful outcome, from a shitty relationship.
With their debut album, ‘Whatever Comes Our Way’, The Lighthouse provides the framework for a lifelong journey of slumbering romance. While drifting through a variety of mood-driven tracks, the listener cycles trough the nights and days of two protagonists, who slowly learn to communicate the merits of their puzzling relationship. While the band offers a versatile palate of sounds, the record, as an entity, aims to breath along with the audience.
Lights of Skadi is a Swedish band and consist of Jörgen André (drums, synthesizers, guitar, bass) Jesper Jansson (guitar) and Martin Ragnarsson (drums, guitar and orchestrations). All three musicians are multi-instrumentalists and share songwriting credits on all tracks on their upcoming debut album Shimmer, to be released October 25th. Apparently three is a magic number, so even though the album includes 60 minutes of powerful instrumental progressive rock, it will only feature three tracks: Norse Code, White Eyed Raven and their new single Time.
