On the heels of his upcoming new EP, Cover Your Tracks (released September 13, 2019 via New West Records), Corb Lund’s tour hits nineteen cities in nine states, starting with Sioux Falls, S.D. on November 5th and kicking up dust all the way down to Tomball, Tex. on November 26th. Lund, an authentic cowboy songwriter, is hitting areas of the American heartland that are home to some of his most supportive audiences. He and his band, the Hurtin’ Albertans, will be bringing their high-energy brand of “Agricultural Tragic” country and western with them, which blends Lund’s stories with shades of Western swing, rockabilly, honky-tonk, talking blues and outlaw country.
With the new single, PISSED REGARDLESS guitarist Sean Walker divulges, “‘Halls Of Hate’ was the second piece of material we wrote for the record. This was the song that challenged and motivated us to write a different record than we had ever done previously and made us comfortable with trying different sounds and styles in PR. Lyrically we wanted to state our disdain for how this country glorifies violence and murder of innocent people because it’s good for ratings. The world is soft and sick.”
Ted Z and The Wranglers, of Southern California, deliver outlaw country-charged rock. Ted’s catchy story-songs are fully-realized tales of love, regret, getting older and getting in trouble. The band stirs up it’s Americana influences, featuring quick picking and bluesy slide guitar over galloping train beats and swinging shuffles.
Frontman Erick Newbill says, “We chose “Capsize” as the title track because it brings together quite a few themes we find running through the album. In the face of adversity will we sink, or are life’s setbacks just temporary things we’ll find a way to overcome?”
He adds, “The experience of filming the video alongside my son was one of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had both as a musician and a parent. It’s so great when different elements of life we care deeply about intersect and become something beautiful.”
Dog In The Snow Share New Track “Dual Terror” || New Album ‘Vanishing Lands’ Due Out 11/15 On Bella Union
Of the track Helen Ganya Brown aka Dog In The Snow says: “I had a dream that I met a different version of myself, one that I met alone in an abandoned house. The song parallels that with the paranoia of the end of the world, and our obsession with the apocalypse.” Of the video Jay Bartlett adds: “This track was cagey, paranoid and a real trip through a dream. I wanted to mess with expectations/reality and make an over the top tripped out horror. This was a fun one, I let most of the edit do the heavy lifting and made sure the mad shit kept ramping up.”
“Infinite Shift” is a track brimming with the churning, unending energy of NYC, propelled by Sean Mullins’ drums and full of a teenage sense of yearning for something more, some entry into the mysterious adult world of taxis gliding through Manhattan streets in the early morning. It’s about being drunk on new york, drunk on the future, and builds to a shattering and euphoric instrumental climax.
408 (Orlando Pop Punk) Release New Single/Video “Settle The Score”
“This song was written about dealing with mixed emotions of chasing someone you thought was the love of your life and losing grip with society’s version of a relationship today. This video is meant to symbolize materialistic needs as well as the rabbit hole the mind goes through when trying to process emotions.”- Mark Faroudi (vocals/bass)
Victoria, BC indie folk outfit are releasing their new full-length, In Constellation
Mingling grassroots guitar, mandolin, accordion, orchestral instruments, and interweaving harmonies, In Constellation (produced by Joby Baker, co-produced and arranged by Adrian Dolan) features longtime members Eden Oliver, Alex Rempel, and Jeff Poynter conceiving a new box, then thinking outside of it. Punctuated by musings on anxiety and belonging, song structures vary and dynamics change from moment to moment, painting powerful lyrical portraits over backgrounds of violins and trumpets that swell, collapse, and tumble between bold harmonies. With over 650 performances and several tours under their collective belt, West My Friend is bringing forth a new sound you’ve never known you’ve wanted and new meaning to the things you’ve never known you needed.
Laura Marano returns with her sexy new video for the track, “F.E.O.U.” from her album “ME” released on March 8, 2019. The provocative track finds Laura singing “I know I’ll be the one that you will never get over/You can’t get over/You’ll be the best I’ve had and I will never recover/So baby get closer.” This flirty and seductive track breaks new ground for Marano. She sheds the wholesome characteristics of her role as Ally, on Disney’s “Austin & Ally” and establishes herself as a woman who isn’t afraid to sing about what she wants.

The Canadian-born rapper has built a loyal following with his unique blend of humor and down-to-earth lyricism; his Special Occasion tour will offer many fans their first chance to see Merkules live and is set to kick off on November 5 in Spokane, WA.
Regarding the track, the band had this to say: “Kimmy is a nonsense song. I think I may be building a reputation for writing emotional, deep, dark songs, so just wanted to do something absurd and without meaning. Not every song has to be philosophical pondering on life, because honestly a lot of times there is no rhyme or reason to our time here. The song is ridiculous musically too. Caveman rhythms, quick twists and turns, and really no standard structure. Some of lyrics I can’t even remember. They could just be gibberish. Its named after a friend that is absurd and unfiltered, so that was the inspiration. It’s a fun exercise to give in to the meaningless.”
