Words from No Swoon on the track: “The music video for “Don’t Wake Up, Wake up” follows two people searching for and finding themselves lost, slipping between a dream and reality. — This song started from a dream of mine. Usually my dreams are very darkly lit or at night with muted colors, except there is always one or two objects that are highly saturated in a brighter color.” -Tasha

Molly Brazy Only Cares About Her Cashflow on “In N Out” Single

With a no-nonsense approach to her career and her finances, Molly Brazy is one of Detroit’s most reliable sources of bangers. Going in atop yo-yoing synths and acid bass, Molly hits it and quits it in “In N Out,” her latest single. Displaying a single-minded focus on growing her bankroll, Molly wields an aggressive flow, dancing atop the dueling synth-and-piano arpeggios and emphasizing how she prefers to handle her business: “Trip to the bank, I’m in and I’m out/I’m just gettin money, is you in or you out?” Produced by I AM Xayy, “In N Out” is the latest release from Built To Last, Molly’s upcoming project and the follow-up to last year’s Queen Pin, following the video for “Wood.”

BROTHER LEO RELEASES NEW SONG “BARCELONA”

Named after Svensson’s more confident and free childhood imaginary twin, Brother Leo officially made his worldwide debut in 2018. The dynamic nature of the music aligns with his rather unbelievable story. Long before his emergence as Brother Leo, mom forced her son born Ola to participate in boys’ choir and take piano lessons when all he “really cared about was football.” At only 17, he played professional soccer for former UEFA-cup team Trelleborgs FF. After singing during a school function, friends clamored for him to audition for Pop Idol. Despite his reluctance, he ended up landing a deal in his native Sweden as a result. Unlocking a quirky, clever, and catchy signature style, Ola achieved a string of number ones off the back of his Swedish debut before making his bones as an in-demand songwriter with cuts for gnash, Hailee Steinfeld, Akon, and more under his given name. He assumed the identity of Brother Leo in 2018 and began writing and recording with Mark Ralph [Clean Bandit, Years & Years, Jax Jones], Coffee [Rihanna, Dua Lipa, Justin Bieber], Dan Grech [Lana Del Rey, Liam Gallagher, George Ezra], and more.

Pallas Athene – ‘The Wall’

“I wrote my new song, “The Wall,” from my perspective as an observer in the virtual world. I notice myself and others just not as present in-person, overwhelmed by the critical state of the world and the constant information overload from our newsfeeds, ads and notifications. Beauts preview debut LP with new slow-burning single…stream “Good Measure” today

Pulsating, glinting synths are punctuated by tempered guitar lines as the song opens the gates – cautiously, yet assuredly – towards a surging, crescendoing drive. Interwoven with lyrics poised to distract from the dread of ultimately being alone, an undercurrent of shoegaze provides a steady bedrock for the slow-burning track.
