No Swoon announce debut s/t album (prod. by Jorge Elbrecht)
Words from No Swoon on the track: “The music video for “Don’t Wake Up, Wake up” follows two people searching for and finding themselves lost, slipping between a dream and reality. — This song started from a dream of mine. Usually my dreams are very darkly lit or at night with muted colors, except there is always one or two objects that are highly saturated in a brighter color.” -Tasha
With a no-nonsense approach to her career and her finances, Molly Brazy is one of Detroit’s most reliable sources of bangers. Going in atop yo-yoing synths and acid bass, Molly hits it and quits it in “In N Out,” her latest single. Displaying a single-minded focus on growing her bankroll, Molly wields an aggressive flow, dancing atop the dueling synth-and-piano arpeggios and emphasizing how she prefers to handle her business: “Trip to the bank, I’m in and I’m out/I’m just gettin money, is you in or you out?” Produced by I AM Xayy, “In N Out” is the latest release from Built To Last, Molly’s upcoming project and the follow-up to last year’s Queen Pin, following the video for “Wood.”

Named after Svensson’s more confident and free childhood imaginary twin, Brother Leo officially made his worldwide debut in 2018. The dynamic nature of the music aligns with his rather unbelievable story. Long before his emergence as Brother Leo, mom forced her son born Ola to participate in boys’ choir and take piano lessons when all he “really cared about was football.” At only 17, he played professional soccer for former UEFA-cup team Trelleborgs FF. After singing during a school function, friends clamored for him to audition for Pop Idol. Despite his reluctance, he ended up landing a deal in his native Sweden as a result. Unlocking a quirky, clever, and catchy signature style, Ola achieved a string of number ones off the back of his Swedish debut before making his bones as an in-demand songwriter with cuts for gnash, Hailee Steinfeld, Akon, and more under his given name. He assumed the identity of Brother Leo in 2018 and began writing and recording with Mark Ralph [Clean Bandit, Years & Years, Jax Jones], Coffee [Rihanna, Dua Lipa, Justin Bieber], Dan Grech [Lana Del Rey, Liam Gallagher, George Ezra], and more.

“I wrote my new song, “The Wall,” from my perspective as an observer in the virtual world. I notice myself and others just not as present in-person, overwhelmed by the critical state of the world and the constant information overload from our newsfeeds, ads and notifications. This track represents the restriction, loneliness, and disempowerment that I feel in being a part of the virtual world and also represents my fear of isolation and obsolescence in leaving it behind.”
New Music // Milky Chance – “The Game”
Today Milky Chance release The Game. This dreamy track is the first single to be lifted from their third album, Mind on the Moon, out November 15th via Ignition Records. Pre-Order the album now (HERE.) The album will also include their recent song with Tash Sultana, Daydreaming.
Pulsating, glinting synths are punctuated by tempered guitar lines as the song opens the gates – cautiously, yet assuredly – towards a surging, crescendoing drive. While the band’s penchant for recalling the sonic influences of groups such as The National and Interpol remains ever present, “Good Measure” positions Beauts further in the past bringing to light their fervour for the tones, pacing, and delivery of acts like New Order, The Cure, and Talk Talk. Interwoven with lyrics poised to distract from the dread of ultimately being alone, an undercurrent of shoegaze provides a steady bedrock for the slow-burning track.

Don’t shoot the messenger! Dana Coppa teams up with Savannah, GA native Dope Knife on “The Message”; produced by the one and only Charley Cooks.
It’s hard to be mad at a couple of well-versed and well reputed emcees for letting their contemporaries know that no matter how dope they might think they are, they’re just suckas in comparison. “The Message” is equipped with a classic feel and head-nod tempo allowing the two emcees to float effortlessly in conjunction with the track’s vibe.

Liily, the alternative rock band from Los Angeles, share their latest track “Wash” today. The first new music released since their debut EP I Can Fool Anybody in This Town, “Wash” is a taste of raw energy; wild, angular and percussion-led chaos which rivals that of indie dance hall classics Gang of Four or The Rapture. In the band’s own words, “‘Wash’ is our first attempt at expanding our sound and making something as closely representative of where we are now as possible.” Always irreverent, they also shared the following flip remarks:
“It continues KORN’s mission of probing the hidden corners and harsh realities of life within a shroud discordant darkness,” declared Noisey with The FADER adding, “KORN have never shied away from innovation… the icons have always looked forward.” Los Angeles Times applauded the “…deep and potent performances from the band, evoking their ever-present rage but also feelings of loss and isolation,” while NME affirmed, “This urgent and important record will ensure the veterans don’t get lost in the shuffle.

Vaporize is mainly about the complex feelings you challenge when you leave a relationship with someone, or just split with someone you really like. The song also criticize peoples obsession with climbing the social ladder instead of being true to themselves. People’s will to get recognition from those with ”higher status” gets prioritized and leaves real relationships in between.
