Lately says “Run” is about “getting out of your own head and just going after what it is you know you truly want. Me and Space Cadet made this beat together the first weekend that we started working on the album. It was one of like 10 beats that we made that weekend, and I started writing to like 3 or 4 of them. Later that week I just ended up combining all the songs on this beat because I realized I was talking about the same thing in all of them. It was just really like exactly where I was at the time, and I had to get it off before I could move on. After that the whole album just kind of just flowed together from there.”

No Vacation announce the release of Phasing with “Estrangers”
Sung in a calm whisper over meandering guitar and a bossa nova-reminiscent groove, “Estrangers” is the latest indulgence from Brooklyn’s ethereal dream-pop group No Vacation. Originally begun at a house party in late 2016, “Estrangers” took longer than most songs to complete. In spite of personal struggles and feelings of estrangement, the song was eventually finished in early 2019 with the addition of Romantic Era-inspired cello parts, resulting in the song’s beautifully nostalgic string climax that sings with pure, cutting emotion.

UK ARTIST GRIFF REVEALS NEW TRACK “DIDN’T BREAK IT ENOUGH”
At just 18-years-old, Griff made an immediate impact earlier this summer with her empowered but affecting debut single, “Mirror Talk,” via Warner Records. ‘Out Of The Darkness’ received plays on BBC Radio Two (Jo Wiley), BBC 6 Music (Chris Hawkins & Tom Robinson), BBC London (Gary Crowley), and Amazing Radio (Shell Zenner), plus was also added to the BBC Radio Wales A-List following plays from Janice Long & Adam Walton.
