Lulu James unveils video for ‘Zim Zimmer’
Lulu James has dropped the official video for new single ‘Zim Zimmer’, out now following premiere with Complex earlier today.
The back-to-your-roots style video see Lulu reconnecting with her cultural heritage by revisiting the Arusha tribe she grew up in. The visuals are a perfect match for the track itself, which is a collaboration between DJ MAX, Rudimental’s Amir Amor, local musicians and the Masai warriors of Lucas camp in her hometown. ‘Zim Zimmer’ is a product of Lulu going back to Africa to reconnect with her family, her roots and the music – returning with a fresh new sound that bridges the two worlds.

Directed by frequent collaborator Trey Fanjoy, the mud-slinging clip was filmed outside Nashville and features Lambert behind the wheel in an off-roading adventure, and a subsequent trip to the car wash to clean up.

YOSHIKI has donated $100,000.00 to Earth Alliance and its Amazon Forest Fund in support of local efforts on the ground that are working to support the indigenous and local communities that are protecting the land and biodiversity. After hearing about the increasing fires throughout the Amazon region, YOSHIKI discovered the newly launched Earth Alliance and reached out to make the donation through his 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization Yoshiki Foundation America.

Rising Appalachia Releases Official Video for “Cuckoo” via Billboard
America’s adored World-Folk music group, Rising Appalachia, have already had a career-defining year and it’s not yet September. Sisters Leah Song and Chloe Smith have led the band to new heights in 2019; releasing their much-anticipated LP Leylines which was met with high praise from fans and critics alike. Today, the band released the official video for the song “Cuckoo” via Billboard Magazine, who called the song a “perception changer” that “channels their southern roots.” Later next month, the band will showcase at AMERICANAFEST in Nashville, TN before kicking off a two month Leylines release tour in Telluride, CO on Sept. 2o.

ICYMI: KOBRA AND THE LOTUS Begin US Tour With Sebastian Bach
Calgary-based hard rock quintet KOBRA AND THE LOTUS are back on the road in the states! The band will release their new studio album, Evolution, on September 20th via Napalm Records.
