By Divine Right’s José Contreras releases At The Slaughterhouse, a beautiful new collection of solo material, on Friday, September 13 via Headless Owl Records.
A video for the album’s lead single, “At 45,” premieres today via Indie88. Directed by Ben Srokosz of GATTA Creative, the stark black and white video is peppered with zooming hits of colour while traffic rushes by Contreras.

Portland death metal band VITRIOL premiere their playthrough of “Crowned In Retaliation” today with Invisible Oranges.

“Wagon” is a song about the path to success and how those who may have not been supportive in the past are always ready to ‘jump on the bandwagon’ once it’s too late. Rose commented, “The inspiration for ‘Wagon’ came from a good friend who challenged me to write a song as if I had already ‘made it’ in the music industry. Rappers are always writing songs about ‘making it’ before they do so he thought it would be fun to put a Country spin on the idea. Although the lyrics come from my perspective, I think it could be relatable for anyone. People will always doubt your dreams, goals and passions until they start to watch you succeed. This song is a sassy and honest way of saying ‘look at me now.'”

Turkuaz Announces Feature Film, ‘None’s A Ton,’ & Adds Fall Tour Dates
A great movie can act as a time capsule, documenting a specific era in time to relive, revisit and enjoy in the days to come, and that’s essentially what Turkuaz did in late 2018 while filming a live performance, which was promised to be released as a film at a later date.
“None’s A Ton is our first time truly capturing the Turkuaz show experience in a live concert film,” shares Turkuaz frontman, Dave Brandwein, who also co-directed and is credited as an Executive Producer on the film. “It’s something we’ve dreamed of doing for a long time and finally, it has arrived. This film is sort of a ‘best of’ of our favorite moments that have developed on stage over the last five years of non-stop, coast-to-coast touring.”

“Today we are thankful to the Federal Communications Commission for their recognition that now is the time for a nationwide three-digit phone line for mental health and suicide prevention crisis,” said Becky Stoll, LCSW, AAS Crisis Center Division Chair, and Vice President, Crisis & Disaster Management at Centerstone. “Now we turn to our colleagues in Congress for further conversation on this issue including funding.
