Dizzle AP drops ‘Cash Machine’
One of the new school in grime, Dizzle AP has quickly laid his claim on the game, gaining some major wins on the way. Quickly establishing himself as a respected emcee and collaborating with some weighty names from UK British black music, his new ‘Silver Lining’ EP is due to be released at the end of August and he’s just dropped ‘Cash Machine’ as the opener.
Kevin Courtois has been around the music industry since his formative years, beginning to self produce at the age of 15. Working tirelessly to create his own unique slant on pop, Courtois has seen his tracks amass millions of streams across releases on labels such as UPRISE and Capitol Records. The now LA based producer is planning a prolific last few months of 2019, so be sure to keep an eye on Courtois as he releases more in the coming months.

When The Clash’s third album ‘London Calling’ was released in the winter of 1979 it was clear that the band had made an instant classic, an era-defining masterpiece which still stands as one of the all-time greatest albums.
To celebrate this truly London work, the Museum of London will showcase a collection of items from The Clash’s personal archive including draft lyrics, stage clothes, photos and films, giving new insight into their recording process and the making of ‘London Calling’. The Clash: London Calling, which includes previously unseen items, is a free exhibit, opening on 15th November running to Spring 2020.
Upside Down is the demonstrative debut under new banner Pixel, exploring struggles against mental imbalance whilst opening the digital door to an interactive production project.
During his time working as a production engineer for national broadcaster ABC and writing songs with Brisbane band Sing Say, Pixel experienced a health scare which forced him to make the best of a bad situation. In his respite he developed the idea of a contribution-based music production live-stream where the content produced is then re-packaged for educational purposes. How better to do launch this than to lead by example.

“The Cormorant I starts with a visit from a strange bird, a death augur, which haunts two characters throughout their lives,” notes Ellis Ludwig-Leone of the album’s namesake. “The track listing is chronological: the first few songs are about childhood, while the later tracks follow the characters into their more complicated adult lives. Finally, the last song imagines the return of the bird and their eventual deaths.”
