“Chris Jobe pulls on the heartstrings with his emotional new song, ‘Make It All Better,’ featuring Abigail Rose. The Nashville-based multi-instrumentalist penned the song with his collaborator, and the pair trade verses on the song about addiction,” Billboard’s Annie Rueter wrote on Friday. “Despite the dark subject matter, Rose’s warm vocals alongside slick pop production and delicate keyboard parts make for an ear-grabbing and overall uplifting track… In the video for the song, Jobe plays the role of a man struggling with addiction. The concept was taken from real life, as he and producer/co-director Olivia Timms have both dealt with addiction in their families.”
“During a time when equality on the airwaves has become such a widespread conversation, “Americana” serves as a needed reminder that the genre’s roots did not grow from a white man’s soil.” —Wide Open Country

Klatt told Atwood Magazine, “Ramblin’ Kind,” is a song born out of a melody. I wrote the words at my buddies cabin in northern Minnesota on a summer’s day. I sat on the dock by the lake and let them lap against the shore. I guess you could say it’s about the beauty of hitting the bottom, a poem of redemption.”

Chartreuse Share New Track “Three Days” || Out Now On PIAS Recordings
Hailing from the UK, Chartreuse create richly-textured, loose-limbed, country-kissed soul music. It oozes warmth, intimacy and melancholy. It’s a sound that roughly orbits the alt-country shaped textures of Lambchop, the unhurried grandeur of Nick Cave, and the life-affirming unity of The National. There’s something of the loungey, devil-may-care attitude of King Krule here too. In truth, it sounds unlike any of them, an unexpectedly furtive marrying of folk, soul, jazz, and R&B in its truest sense by a young band making their deliciously beguiling first steps.
