Acclaimed Austin, Texas-based slide guitar virtuoso Jeff “Plank” Plankenhorn has announced his latest project Covered/Uncovered, a forthcoming collection of stripped-down reimagined singles paying tribute to those who have inspired him, and originals showcasing the extension of that inspiration. “Covered/Uncovered is a project that consists of immersing myself in songs of my youth, my contemporaries, and my influences while simultaneously finding the truth of my own creativity through new original songs without labels or boundaries dictated by genre,” he explains. Today, he released the first single, “The Bottom Line.” “‘The Bottom Line’ is a play on the idea of a corporate bottom line,” he says of the track. “It’s all anyone thinks about, but what is normally forgotten are the people; the folks who get hurt by greed and the ones that society shuts their eyes on.”

They pushed forward with Age of Everything in 2016, jumping to the top of indie rock playlists the internet over, amassing over 10 million streams.
