Jason Lytle debuts “Don’t Wanna Be There For All That Stuff” via Paste

Arthur King Presents Jason Lytle: NYLONANDJUNO is the next installment in the ongoing experimental album release series from Los Angeles-based music and art collective, Arthur King. The film was created by Mind Palace, writer/director Ryan Baxley, set designer Brandon Schwartzel, and photographer Alice Baxley. Their film for NYLONANDJUNO was inspired by Lytle’s descriptions of each individual song, recreated in handmade and hand painted miniatures. Materials used include clay, paper mache, sand, etc.

Acclaimed Austin, Texas-based slide guitar virtuoso Jeff “Plank” Plankenhorn has announced his latest project Covered/Uncovered, a forthcoming collection of stripped-down reimagined singles paying tribute to those who have inspired him, and originals showcasing the extension of that inspiration. “Covered/Uncovered is a project that consists of immersing myself in songs of my youth, my contemporaries, and my influences while simultaneously finding the truth of my own creativity through new original songs without labels or boundaries dictated by genre,” he explains. Today, he released the first single, “The Bottom Line.” “‘The Bottom Line’ is a play on the idea of a corporate bottom line,” he says of the track. “It’s all anyone thinks about, but what is normally forgotten are the people; the folks who get hurt by greed and the ones that society shuts their eyes on.”

CINDER Release New Album ‘The Machine’ – Out Now On Art Is War Records!

Ft. Myers based Hard Rock band CINDER are back with their new studio album, ‘The Machine’, which is out today (Aug. 9) on Art Is War Records. Known best for their 2001 studio album ‘Break Your Silence’ (produced by Scott Weiland and Jay Baumgardner), the band is back with their first major release in nearly a decade. Nashville based dream-pop project Love You Later released the video for latest single “Harder on Myself” today via WickeddChildd.

Featuring singer/producer Lexi Aviles in between a party scene and hiding away at home, the video aims for a certain social sadness “to almost be romanticized,” according to Aviles.
