Los Angeles-based Mount Music Group has just closed a long-term management deal with Virginia-based soul-pop R&B band Erin & The Wildfire, it is being announced by industry veteran and founder David MacMahon Mount today.

The new single from Maneka (aka ex-Speedy Ortiz guitarist Devin McKnight) and Sadie Dupuis from Speedy Ortiz entitled “My Queen” which is going to be premiering tomorrow morning. It’s from his new album Devin which was announced a couple weeks back and will be out on Exploding In Sound at the end of July. This one is probably the most straight ahead punk song on the record, kind of reminiscent of the Philadelphia Collins stuff that Devin did with Theo from Ovlov, and the track is about King Tut and Nefertiti, as Devin puts it “the greatest black power couple until the Obamas.”
Boston-based art rock collective The Pull of Autumn has announced their sophomore album ‘Afterglow’, to be released in late July via Boston-based RBM Records. This 15-track offering follows up their debut eponymous album, released in 2018 on the same label.
The painting ‘Parliament Hill’, featured on the cover artwork was created by James Johnston, founder of Gallon Drunk and also a former member of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and recording and touring aritst with PJ Harvey, Lydia Lunch, Ulan Bator, Barry Adamson and Faust.
