Norwegian 20 year old indie pop/r&b artist Lil Halima shares charming a capella video for “Who Do U Love”

Lil Halima ́s enthusiasm for music has been a part of her since birth. When her father departed from Kenya to Bardu in the north of Norway in 1995, his bag was filled with everything from Kenyan music to American hip hop. These became the foundation for an adolescence filled with a wide range of musical role models for Lillian Halima Anderssen. With inspiration from artists such as Stevie Wonder, 2Pac, and Aaliyah –introduced to her by her father –as well as her own personal favorites such as SZA, Noname, Erykah Badu and FKA Twigs, it’s no wonder Lil Halima developed the musical versatility she now so clearly demonstrates at just 20 years old.

”Since we’ve released a couple of mid-tempo songs lately, we thought it was time for a punch in the face! This one is aggressive but yet melodic. But I’m happy I got to scream a bit in this one. I got to show some balls.

It contains great lyrics with a little bit of irony in it, and a flaming and shredding guitar solo by Daniel. I would say that this is a DEGREED song in every way. Buckle up baby, cause this is some heavy shit!”
