Maggie Lindemann teams up with Travis Barker for punk rework of “Friends Go”

On Maggie Lindemann’s latest single, ‘Friends Go,’ the 20-year-old treads the line between modernist and throwback. The starlet embraces this duality with the help of Blink 182’s Travis Barker by putting a punk twist on the recent single which explores feelings of disconnect at a time in which technology has made people closer than ever before.

“I wanted to do a version of friends go that had a bit more of a punk feel because that’s my favorite type of music,” Maggie explained. “When I first recorded the song, I wanted to do multiple versions. I feel like the song is very versatile and wanted to kinda explore different genres! I love the Travis version, it’s one of my favorite songs I’ve done.”
