SUECO THE CHILD DROPS OFFICIAL VIDEO FOR MASSIVE VIRAL SINGLE “FAST”

Atlantic Records recording artist Sueco The Child has unveiled the official video for his massive viral single, “Fast.” Directed by RJ Sanchez (Migos, Travis Scott, Young Thug), the hilarious clip premiered today via COMPLEX with the outlet praising, “The visual highlight’s the Los Angeles artist’s sense of humor while also critiquing the concept of “clout.” We see Sueco & Co. running amok in a department store, posing next to cars that aren’t theirs, taking up horseback riding, and making beats on a woman’s buttocks.”

Georgia Anne Muldrow New Album Release: “VWETO II”

The names people invoke when trying to describe Georgia Anne Muldrow are unavoidably, almost impossibly lofty: Nina Simone and Alice Coltrane, Erykah Badu and Ella Fitzgerald. The Los Angeles-bred singer, songwriter, and musician is all and none of these things –– she’s able to channel the greats from decades past in soul, R&B, and jazz, but her own music is too subversive, too forward-thinking to be cordoned off as a footnote to any one lineage. Over the course of a career that spans dozens of releases and ropes in a wide array of talented collaborators, it would appear that Muldrow has explored every nook and crevice of her tastes and talents. And yet, after nearly 15 years, each new turn in her catalog is a step directly into the unknown.

Having just moved to London, Jack was on the lookout for collaborators to help perform the music he had been writing at art school. An introduction through a mutual friend lead him to Dom, who was studying Popular Music at Goldsmiths. Their closely aligned creative vision soon found them forming a collaborative duo. Since then, they’ve been steadily refining their combined sound, pairing Jack’s lyrical imagery of mythologised pop-culture adolescence with Dom’s mutated pop productions. This EP is a first glimpse into the meeting point of their two musical identities.

Oakland psych r&b band Bells Atlas share stunning “The Mystic” video with Nothing But The Wax

Bells Atlas’ latest offering ‘The Mystic’ digs further into their soulful buoyancy to explore both sound and storytelling. Sandra Lawson-Ndu, Douglas Stuart, Geneva Harrison, and Derek Barber stumbled upon a new process for songwriting– of which included sampling grainy phone recordings of the band’s drummer — that elevates Bells Atlas’ already unique approach to psychedelic R&B. The spontaneity of The Mystic’s creative process results in a raw, cosmic sound that is mirrored in its lyrics. The record is a sci-fi fantasy of two first-generation Nigerian American women coming to terms with a mental health diagnosis, and at the same time, a very universal exploration of how we make sense of reality. Today the band share their video for “the mystic” with Nothing But The Wax. You can watch here. The video is collaboration with the The House of Malico production company (an Oakland based production team that includes mc / filmmaker Queens D. Light)
