Acclaimed avant-garde pop artist Empara Mi has shared the intoxicating orchestral rework of her latest single, ‘Blood In The Water’.
Replacing the original’s brooding production and electronics with swelling strings punctuated by expressive musicality, the rework lends the track a foreboding atmosphere, placing emphasis on Empara Mi’s stunning vocals and poignant lyricism amid an expansive and emotionally evocative soundscape.
The orchestral version follows the release of the single’s cinematic video, which premiered with Hunger and led them to describe Empara Mi as “unlike anything music has seen in a while… Proving herself to be a voice we all can empathise with, and also be in awe of, Empara Mi brings together the worlds of intimacy and relatability seamlessly, and with serious style.”
