Chicago’s Little Church release their third EP ‘It’s Not You’ today via Diversion Records!
Little Church, the pop/soul/noise band from Chicago, took its name as a quote from a book that ultimately transformed into a metaphor for the band that occupies that name. Through their music, Little Church has connected spiritually and created a small congregation together. Bassist Christian Whiting explains that “[They’re] fairly tight-knit and thinks through the band were able to attain some spiritual fulfillment and we’re really just one microscopic and localized part of the connection that the whole world has with music.”

Of “Death Of My Ego,” vocalist Sam Babayan shared, “This song came from and experience of me going out into the desert, drinking ayahuasca with a very interesting group of people, diving deep and having a major ego death…the dissolving of self. V Blackburn releases new single “Kim Kardashian”
Comprised of five vibrant tracks, Public Figure is (surprisingly) the artistic culmination of a severe case of writer’s block. Challenged by some friends to use celebrities as a writing prompt, V found that the constraints actually inspired creativity. What is more surprising is that by using the lens of these public figures, she was actually able to find a space for introspection and self-discovery. To further this sense of expression, Blackburn hand-designed the artwork for each single, creating collages decorated with images that depict her personal connection to each song.
Premiere: V. Blackburn celebrates being a fierce woman just like ‘Kim Kardashian’
