Hailing from northern California, Kyd the Band relocated to Nashville after a two-year stint in LA to hone his craft as a recording artist and writer. Today marks the release of his debut major label single Human, a beat-driven track that
showcases his signature sound. Penned about the demise of a close friendship, Kyd poses the question, “Why’d you have to be human?” The song’s hard-hitting lyrics evoke a feeling of vulnerability, acknowledging our propensity to hurt the ones we love. The music video supplements the song’s nostalgic sentiment with vivid imagery and a heart-wrenching storyline.
