Jvck James Releases Brand New Track ‘Fall Free’

Ahead of his sold-out show at The Courtyard Theatre this evening, today sees the return of 20-year-old R&B wonderkid JVCK JAMES with the release of his new single ‘Fall Free’. New video: Richard James Simpson ‘Know’

Featuring such notable and OG punk/rock/alternative rock icons as Jill Emery (Mazzy Star, Hole); Don Bolles (The Germs); Dustin Boyer (John Cale); Paul Roessler (The Screamers, Twisted Roots); Mark Reback (Vast Asteroid); Ygarr Ygarrist (Zolar X) and Geza X (Geza X and the Mommymen, The Deadbeats), Richard James Simpson’s sophomore solo album, “Deep Dream”, offers ferocious, heart-wrenching songs that provide a unique sonic experience.


The fantastical new video was co-directed by Alex Lightman and creative director Edwin Burdis [Arctic Monkeys, Wild Beasts, Franz Ferdinand, Alexis Taylor]. The song itself deals with the loneliness and isolation which lead to Grace involving the roller derby team in the video, allowing the team push and pull each other to mimic the impact of the songs dynamics eventually ending with Grace rocking out at the end, free of her skating demons.


Recorded at Live Nation Studios NYC and produced by ABSRDST, the punchy track sees Dorian Electra reclaim the word “Flamboyant”. All whilst paying homage to the legendary Liberace with an over-the-top, unrestrained, colourful, campy video. Co-directed by longtime collaborator Weston Allen (Nike, Refinery29) and Dorian Electra, the video features extravagant costumes inspired by Liberace and his partner, Scott Thorson.

GRIZFOLK Announce New Album ‘Rarest Of Birds’ Out July 19th + Headline Tour Dates       

Los Angeles alternative rock band Grizfolk announce their new full-length album Rarest Of Birds will be released on July 19th, 2019. Turning up to a lush, piano-and-flute laden beat by Kairon, LK Snoop paints a picture of his life, detailing the day-to-day choices he must make to survive, as Luh Soldier compares trapping to a 9-to-5 job. Son of Cloud (the moniker of Jonathan Seale) has unveiled the new video, “How To Love You Today,” from his self-titled debut album, which was released on April 12th. “Learning how to love someone well is always harder than you expect,” Seale explains. “I thought I finished writing this song three years ago but this month I realized that I’ll never be able to stop writing it.
