GRM Daily Premiere Stunning New Video From Alex Dutty

Aside from his gritty determination to succeed, what sets Alex apart from other rappers is his ability to entertain the listener whilst remaining completely honest. Choosing to shy away from the stereotypical ‘guns, drugs, money and hoes’ content, the rapper delivers brutally candid and relatable accounts of his deprived childhood. The artist touts himself as a mouthpiece for people that grew up in broken homes who battle financial issues, self-doubt, and hardships on a daily basis- issues which are rife on his debut album, ‘Knock Down Ginger’.

Politically-Charged Indie Rockers Release “Generation Loss”

Lead vocalist Sean Kelly expands on the concept of the album and title track, “Generation Loss”: “Generation Loss was the working title of the album from very early on, which refers to the loss of quality between subsequent copies of data (video, audio, etc). I thought of that concept – the older and more copied something got, the worse it was in terms of quality. If you put that in the context of capitalism and the way our government is structured, it applies quite frighteningly. The more power these politicians have, the more money is in their pockets from large donors, and the more beholden they are to corporate interests, the less we have and the less likely we are to truly prosper and live the so-called ‘American Dream.’”

GRAVEDGR fuses hardstyle and trap on “KAMIKAZE”

The masked menace GRAVEDGR returns to Carnage’s Heavyweight Records with “KAMIKAZE,” his first release of the year. As if to remind the world that he’s very much still alive, GRAVEDGR seems to have outdone himself with this one, even by his own heavy-hitting standards. “KAMIKAZE” delivers bone-shaking basslines and serrating synths, its drop a cacophony of thunder and lightning, with intermittent quiet periods in which the listener is almost lulled into a false sense of security before GRAVEDGR unleashes the next wave of his menace. If “KAMIKAZE” is any indication, GRAVEDGR is back and more sinister than ever, so stay tuned for more new music coming soon.
