Unreleased Townes Van Zandt LP, “Sky Blue”, Coming March 7th on Townes Van Zandt Records and Fat Possum Records

Sky Blue, a collection of unreleased songs by one of the most celebrated songwriters of the twentieth century, is a time capsule that Townes Van Zandt created forty-six years ago, and we’re only now just unearthing and opening it to find the treasures inside. Scheduled for release by TVZ Records and Fat Possum Records on March 7, 2019—which would have been his 75th birthday—this album shows the artist working out some of his most iconic songs in an intimate, comfortable setting with one of his lifelong confidantes.

DUST BOLT – New Video For “Another Day In Hell”

The band on the new single: “Another Day In Hell is the by far slowest and darkest song on the new album and probably even in DUST BOLT´s history. Originated on an acoustic guitar, Lenny took this song to the rehearsal room one day and it was kind of fitting to how the band and its members were feeling at that point of time. The video was shot on one day, together with Bloodspot frontman and singer Peter Kunz and shows a different side to the band´s personality than most listeners have seen before. For this one we wanted to let the music do the talking and portray the day the song was written from the perspective of every bandmember.”

FEELS SHARE “AWFUL NEED” VIDEO, WATCH HERE

Talking about the track, the band’s Shannon Lay said: “’Awful Need’ is about our search for identity, it is a journey we will be on all our lives; but it is also a reminder that we do not have to be defined by those things. We are always learning to shed what no longer benefits us, we are building on the grave of useless thought. Who you are does not need a title, a label, you are simply and perfectly you.”

Synthpop Artist Angel Metro Releases Her New Album “Dark Days Bright Lights”

DARK DAYS BRIGHT LIGHTS is a dark electronic album with bloodlines in synthpop and witchhouse. It was written through sleepless late nights while I struggled between trying to outrun my darkest days and finding inspiration in them. The chamber environment mixed with heavy drums and haunted vocals reflect the sentiments of heartbreak in solitude. I chose to craft an album out of the songs birthed during these times in the hope that someone might find some inspiration and as a result and give a little purpose for the pain.

WALK THE MOON RELEASE NEW SINGLE “TIMEBOMB”

WALK THE MOON will also be kicking off their winter 2018 headlining tour with two stops in Louisville, KY on January 23rd and 24th. The tour will be making a number of stops in many cities across North America including Buffalo, Montreal, and Baltimore.

DEAFKIDS: Third Album, Metaprogramação, To See March Release

While DEAFKIDS’ previous release, Configuração Do Lamento, captured the group delving deep into their own diverse and discordant musical world, Metaprogramação pushes these elements to entirely new extremes. The band imprints a future-primitive psychic scenario into their music by weaving a fabric of electronic pulses, barrages of delay and noise, wailing guitars, and frenzied rhythms that ricochet aggressively between the speakers. Songs are urgent yet fluid, melting and dissolving into one another, culminating in a wild psychedelic journey that’s bound to reach one’s mind through the body while intoxicating both.

Lowly Share New Track “Baglaens”

“If you stick to just what you know, your music, your art or whatever your situation is becomes stagnant”, say Denmark’s Lowly. “And we wouldn’t like to miss out on anything, just because we felt too comfortable.”
