MOSS KENA SHARES THE VIDEO FOR “SILHOUETTE”

Today, 20-year-old vocalist, musician and songwriter Moss Kena shares the video for his new single “Silhouette.” The video premiered via Wonderland today. From his upcoming second EP, the track was produced by Rodaidh McDonald (The xx, Sampha, King Krule). The One + One EP will be available to buy and stream on November 23rd via RCA Records/Ministry of Sound/Cult Club Records.

Of the video, Astrid says:

“I wanted the video to show a loving but toxic relationship. I also wanted it to show a different side of the song – how you sometimes can be your own biggest enemy – being self-destructive.

To me the song could be about any kind of relationship. It could be a friend, family member, boyfriend, girlfriend or yourself. I hope this video makes it possible for people to interpret it in their own way and relate to it with their own story.”

Today, Seattle’s Society of the Silver Cross are premiering the video for “When You’re Gone” via Metal Injection, the first single from their upcoming debut due in 2019. The ethereal single will be complemented by a haunting video co-directed by Joe and Karyn Reineke and Jenni Hensler who has worked with Chelsea Wolfe and Zola Jesus. The single is out on CD and vinyl with “Funeral of Sorrows” on the B-side, featuring a mix of East and West that bends surrealism and determinism. The group is led by Joe Reineke and Karyn Gold-Reineke, of Seattle’s famed Orbit Audio studio and includes Sebastian Brownglad on bass, Larry Joireman on drums and percussion and Tim Nurczyk on mellotron and shahi baaja.
