BoomBox releases new album ‘Western Voodoo’

Today, BoomBox releases their newest offering, Western Voodoo. This album was recorded between 2017 and 2018 at Rat Nial studios outside muscle shoals Alabama. “It’s BoomBox held to the light at a slightly different angle… The tracks on this album are quite vulnerable and exposed, with the hope that they are felt as much as they are heard.” says Zion Godchaux.

Western Voodoo is poised to be the brightest and boldest chapter yet for Godchaux. “Our best side is somewhat medicinal,” he leaves off. “All of the rhythms, melodies, and frequencies add up to these healing properties. I hope people feel rejuvenated and re-focused on some level when they hear us. That’s Western Voodoo.”

Paper Fairy unveils Halloween-ready new single “Nowhere” | Debut LP out 10/26

The track premiered via Speak Into My Good Eye with Paper Fairy detailing the album; “The haunter chases the haunted, the innocent implicates the guilty, the accuser shames the accused, the experienced tricks the naive- the explained fulfills the unexplained. This piece is the conversation of many dualities packed into one narrative, just for the two opposing forces to discover that they are one. Its like an internal schizophrenic dialogue. The tracks talk to themselves and each other, through repeated lyrics and jarring musical sections and sounds.”
