Mozes & the Firstborn announce new record ‘Dadcore’ with single ‘If I’ | Out Jan 25th via Pop Up Records

Today, Netherlands four-piece Mozes and the Firstborn have announced that their new album ‘Dadcore’ will be released on January 25th. As the next taster after previous single, ‘Hello’, the band have released a brand new single ‘If I’ produced by Chris Coady (Grizzly Bear, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Beach House), along with a video to accompany it which Clash described as “a lo-fi shoot that recalls gritty VHS while sluiced with outrageous colour”.

Touché Amoré to release new album ‘10 Years / 1000 Shows: Live at the Regent Theater’

On February 16th, Touché Amoré played their 1000th show at The Regent Theater in the band’s hometown of Los Angeles to celebrate their 10-year anniversary as a band. The recording of the sold out show will be released as a live album entitled 10 Years / 1000 Shows at The Regent Theater on November 2nd via Epitaph.

Indie Rock Quartet Albany return with ‘Kingpin’ after playing Camden Rocks Festival and Supporting Scouting for Girls

After releasing their debut EP back in 2015, the quartet found themselves playing a number of shows including alongside Scouting for Girls at Mudfest, a headline slot at The Shed and live session with BBC Introducing. Following in the footsteps of Arctic Monkeys and Reverend & The Makers, the group worked with the team at 2Fly Studios in Sheffield, illustrating an obvious evolved and perfected sound, quite rightly raising their game in 2017 which landed them BBC Introducing’s ‘Track Of The Week.’

“The protagonist attempts to enact the ritual of the sin eater, as a way to absolve the sins of the Democratic Party ahead of the upcoming 2018 midterm elections. In the course of performing the ritual, the protagonist recounts his take on sin eaters in both historical and modern times.”

Mozzy Hosts ‘Provide For Your People’ Giveback Event In Sacramento

On Saturday, Sacramento-bred rapper, Mozzy, hosted the Provide For Your People giveback event at Fourth Avenue Park in Sacramento, CA from 10am-2pm. In addition to repaving the basketball court, Mozzy gifted 400 members of the community with haircut vouchers, backpacks, school supplies, shoes, gift certificates and more. Activities included games, face painting and jump houses along with a variety of food vendors.
