Ryan Von Gonten new LP featuring Lomelda, out on Gold Flake Paint’s new record label

Perhaps the most interesting work is that which can’t be easily categorised; which seems to drift in on its own breeze, distinct and compelling. Ryan Von Gonten’s new album is certainly one such thing, calmly moving between genres and influences with such ease and consideration you barely even notice the change. Featuring eight wonderfully-detailed songs, Truthlikeness is a remarkably assured debut, equally comparable to the likes of Beach House and Youth Lagoon as it is Neil Young and Cocteau Twins.

Normani #1 at Radio – First Solo #1 with Debut Single “Love Lies”

This week, platinum-selling singer-songwriter Normani has earned her first #1 as a solo artist as “Love Lies” with Khalid has earned the #1 spot at Top 40 Radio in the US, according to Mediabase, and #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 airplay chart. The song has also been certified 2x platinum by the RIAA. Released earlier this year, the song has continued to gain momentum since its release, climbing not only the charts at Top 40 radio, but also Billboard’s Hot 100 chart (#11), and amassing over 603 million streams. Upon release, Rolling Stone declared it “a slinky, R&B single” and Billboard raved, “the romantically curious lyrics perfectly complement Normani’s smooth vocals.”

NUISIBLE premiere full album at NoCleanSinging.com

Slaves and Snakes” is NUISIBLE’s debut LP. From brutal hardcore to darker melodic passages, this is an album 100% loyal to the band’s personality, followed by a lyrical concept revolving around capitalism, alienation, corruption, the loss of dear ones, depression and addictions.

Written between September and December 2017, and recorded in just five days, it was the kind of process you shall describe as intense and painful. The album was produced by the band on a collaborative work alongside their friend Camille Giraudeau.

Dusty Stray Announces Single, “You Couldn’t Wait To See Me Cry”

The new single off the fifth album Estranged by Netherlands-based dark noir folk act Dusty Stray flickers with a somber glow. “You Couldn’t Wait To See Me Cry” burns through atmospheric nuances and layers of eerie orchestral folk. As the night rolls on and the wax drips past the wick’s reach, the single builds up to its inevitable exhale. Produced by Kramer, Estranged is out October 12 on Great Waters. The single is now streaming on all major platforms.

Today, Epitaph Records announce that La Dispute has joined the label roster. The band is currently working on new music for a yet to be announced album.

Formed over a decade ago in Grand Rapids, Michigan, La Dispute has a firm passion for the concept of music and art as a medium for making new friends. As a result, La Dispute makes (or strives to make) music that is both artistically, technically, and emotionally engaging in hopes of establishing legitimate connections with any and all interested people, while encouraging dialogue between those people and themselves about things in life that truly matter and that truly last. La Dispute also carries a firm passion for the relevance of a live show, both for the bands involved and for the people in attendance, and will go to the grave believing that the environment created when strangers come together despite their differences to celebrate one important thing is invaluable and should not under any circumstances be taken for granted.

Watch L.A. WITCH’s incredible, new video for “Baby In Blue Jeans”

The “Baby in Blue Jeans” video, in our opinion, does a great job of presenting the contrast of living in Los Angeles and touring most months out of the year. When the song was originally written, it was with the mindset of living in southern California – surfing, desert sunsets, and long freeway drives. Now that we spend so much time on the road, we wanted to document our travels through our own eyes. We all have a love for photography, specifically in the film medium, so we decided to buy a film camera before our last full U.S. tour and pretty much just kept it rolling the whole time. While acting as a tour diary, the video also captures our lifestyle in Los Angeles.

Black Keys inspired blues/ indie rockers, Mask, release new video for ‘Celebrity’

MASK are a band who reflect what it means to be a rock band in the real world. Deliberately avoiding studio trickery, auto-tune and generic fakery, they are genuine friends delivering their tracks in a couple of takes with vintage equipment with the sole purpose of entertaining their audience. If this clashes with the preconception of the modern rock band, then this is only the beginning of their boundary-breaking, with their highly anticipated live appearance giving all proceeds to charity.

Premiere Request: Mike Push & Rama Duke Debut Newest Single “Frozen” this Friday

With the ethereal, yet powerful vocals of Rama Duke and the trance-inducing production delivered by M.I.K.E. Push, “Frozen” is sure to be heard within the club halls worldwide. Even though track begs will surely get you grooving along with the beat and upon deeper listening, you come to realize that behind all the façade of the elegant and beautiful production, Rama’s vocals hit home as she sings about being unavailable within a relationship due to have lost interest in the person and have become incompatible with one another.
