Seventeen year old British newcomer TS Graye has today shared the powerful accompanying video to her single ‘Take Notes’; a track written about falling in love with your best friend. The video, which was directed by Kris Rimmer (The Big Moon, Matt Maltese), aims to highlight the universal nature of the feelings ignited within the song, and features real people and their actual love stories.
Explaining the meaning behind the video in more detail, the director says:
“The song is about dealing with feelings for someone you know you shouldn’t [have feelings for]. TS Graye’s lyrics document her isolation, but it’s a scenario that is familiar to all of us. With this in mind, my aim is to show her trapped in her own thoughts against authentic confessions from a diverse range of subjects. Modern love, technology, trends and ethics seem to be evolving all the time. It can make your head spin more than ever. For this video, we’re taking an organic approach that feels more like a visual research scrapbook.”
