TO END IT ALL: Cvlt Nation Premieres “Lure” Video From Avant-Garde/Death Industrial Duo Featuring Members Of Eye Of Nix
Cvlt Nation is pleased to undrape the official new video for “Lure” from avant-garde/death industrial duo TO END IT ALL. Captured by Gridfailure’s David Brenner with additional footage by the band at Red Hawk Avalon, the alarming hymn comes by way of the impending Scourge Of Woman full-length, set for release this fall via Scry Recordings.
Issues vocalist Joy Von Spain of the track, “‘Lure’ embodies the hypnosis of desire and immolation, nature’s attractive and repelling forces, and the destructive power of seduction.”
“Driven by instantly ensnaring hooks, passion instrumentation, and a powerful lead, Humanoid calls back to the eras of pop preceding the modern age while working a swagger that is all its own. That point is made evident straightaway with the lush, energizing thrills of the album’s titular opening track and is only driven further forward from there. BERNHOFT & THE FASHION BRUISES bring slick, richly-produced pop music to the forefront, and it’s all the more impressive that they’ve managed to do it so organically.” – Popmatters
The track comes off his upcoming Mello Music Group solo debut album – Keep Summer Safe – slated for release on 9/14. Calvin has produced for legends such as De La Soul, Nas, and Disney Star / Interscope signee Ryan Beatty in addition to working with the likes of Bun B, Devin The Dude, Juicy J, Boogie, and more.

There was a Smiths poster on the wall which may have something to do with triple j presenters describing their knack for nostalgic synthesizers and playful guitar lines as “shimmering with the sound from an alternate universe where Morrissey grew up beside the beach.”
