Gothenburg duo Wildhart share new single featuring Nadia Nair

Today (14th June ’18), Gothenburg based duo Wildhart are sharing the second single to be lifted from new EP ‘Caught In A Fisheye’. New single ‘Every Touch’ (out on Spotify etc. tomorrow, 15th June) featuring fellow Swede Nadia Nair, is a rousing, experimental electronic pop cut which pairs together M83-esque synth movements with delicate string sections, and emotive vocal work. New EP, ‘Caught In A Fisheye’ out June 29th is a stunning 22 minute journey through plush instrumentals, schizophrenic key-signatures and inventive chord progressions – all tied together by singer Ylva Holmdahl’s exquisite vocal talents.

JASON MRAZ UNVEILS KNOW.

Originally conceived after Mraz received and translated a blessing from a Buddhist monk during a moving visit to Myanmar in 2012, “Have It All” is joined by an official music video, now boasting nearly 5 million views at Mraz’s official YouTube channel. Directed by longtime collaborator Darren Doane (“I’m Yours,” “Make It Mine,” “Lucky”), the visual captures the song’s bright spirit with a stroll through Mraz’s hometown of Richmond, VA, joined by students from Turnaround Arts and the School of the Performing Arts in the Richmond Community (SPARC), as well as actors Katie Grober (Waitress) and Greg Grunberg (Alias, Heroes).

Mountain Lions “California”

“California” is a personal journey of self-discovery, and one piece of the culmination of songwriting and storytelling that Steven Diaz (formerly of The Lighthouse and The Whaler) has crafted over the past five years. The upbeat and glistening melody tells the story of setting your sights on the goal, but being present in the entire journey. It rejoices in the kinetic energy of the road. Diaz explains, “It has some ties to Jack Kerouac because the road is a fun place to be, especially in between landmarks. For me, it’s a reminder to enjoy the process and not wish that I was there already.”

WIINSTON UNVEIL VIDEO FOR “LALA” STARRING ALEXANDER HØGH ANDERSEN (“VIKINGS”)

Dark yet humorous, WIINSTON’s official video for “Lala” extends the single’s commentary on social dynamics in Los Angeles. Alexander Høgh Andersen – who plays Ivar the Boneless in the hit HISTORY drama “Vikings” – is cast as a megalomaniac TV host who continually sabotages his interviews and violates the personal boundaries of his guests in an effort to assuage his feelings of inferiority and need for recognition.

His guests include WIINSTON, an author (played by Julie Christiansen) and an actor making a comeback (played by Daniel Wagner).

KRANE Collaborates with Max Styler on Mesmerizing New Track “Changes” ft. GOLDN

Following his critically acclaimed album “Fallout” earlier this year, prolific bass artist KRANE returns with his latest masterpiece “Changes.” Produced in collaboration with Max Styler, “Changes” finds KRANE reinventing himself yet again to create a sophisticated and dreamy soundscape; the track delivers a slowly unwinding bassline and mesmerizing synths, all complemented by GOLDN’s soulful vocals to tell the story of the sacrifices we make for love. KRANE’s penchant for emotive bass fused with Styler’s organic grooves is undeniably a winning combination. “Changes” is out on KRANE’s SESSIONS, where KRANE has released much of his recent music.

ICYMI: Guts Club Released a New Single, “Metal Arms”

“Metal Arms is a gentle and haunting piece, six minutes of sparse, meandering guitar-lines, warm washes of slide and Lindsey’s croaked, pained vocals. Lyrically, it’s undeniably dark; images offered with blurred edges, the mind invited to draw its own conclusions, left to draw our own thoughts of lines like “I gave them my body it wasn’t mine anyway” or “I don’t open my mouth, I don’t raise my chest.” Towards the end there’s a hint of resolution, musically at least, as the lightest drum beat enters, the guitars pick-up to a warm, sun-soaked slice of country-rock, and Lindsey’s voice briefly soars with a touch of Janis Joplin or even a slightly less-jazz inclined Billie Holiday.

GORILLAZ: New Album Track “Fire Flies” Out Now

Gorillaz have revealed yet another new album track from The Now Now: In addition to first single “Humility,” and its #1 Global Trending Video on YouTube directed by Jamie Hewlett and starring Gorillaz’ own 2D and Jack Black, “Fire Flies” joins album cuts “Sorcererz” and “Lake Zurich” in being released to advance the new album out June 29th on Warner Bros. Records. Listen to “Fire Flies” here.

New Video! Arkane “Commandments”

Arkane is a southern rap artist, originally from Lafayette, Louisiana. To compare this artist to another would be impossible, as he doesn’t make a certain style of music, he appears to make all styles of music. Arkane is a phenomenal writer with a gritty voice and a charismatic delivery. To watch him work is nothing short of amazing, as he has the ability to creatively design a track from beginning to end within his head without ever having written anything down.

WATCH: GEORGE EZRA SHARES VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE “SHOTGUN”

Described by George as a collection of “songs about escapism, dreaming, anxieties and love,” Staying At Tamara’s has already received early critical acclaim with Newsday praising that the album “brings together an eclectic mix of ’50s simplicity, spiky Afro-pop, and Ed Sheeran-esque pop-folkiness.” DIY Magazine awards Staying At Tamara’s four stars, declaring it “a gorgeous, much needed escape” while Q Magazine describes it as “a warm, optimistic pop n’ roll record that’s hard not to like.”
