For U is about a wait that almost makes you destructively paralyzed or puts you in a vacuum of beautiful melancholy

Inspired by the ethereal 90s trip-hop movement/00’s downtempo society, spearheaded by Lamb/Portishead/Bonobo as well as her own involvement in the cinematic world of dance, Uma E. The Legendary Multi Million Selling Spandau Ballet Return With New Singer Ross William Howard

LONDON 07/06/18 – Spandau Ballet have made a rapturous return to the stage introducing their new singer Ross William Wild at a very special club show at London’s Subterania to prove that as the song goes they no longer ‘find it hard to write the next line’.

The band fronted by Ross’s sensational voice powered through a hit-strewn set featuring classics such as Only When You Leave, To Cut A Long Story Short, Through The Barricades, Highly Strung and many more as well as spine-tingling versions of True and Gold with an energy reminiscent of their earliest days playing The Blitz Club.

Singer Ross William Wild was first introduced to the group when he starred as Elvis Presley alongside Spandau bassist Martin Kemp in The Million Dollar Quartet in 2016, Martin told the band that “He gave me goosebumps every night he sang” and when the time came to re-group it was clear after one rehearsal that his voice and their music fitted together perfectly.

Chris Pellnat – Song submission – inspired by virtual reality

Olivia Rhodes is a fictional character I “met” in a virtual reality game, “Lone Echo” and I sing this song from the perspective of an artificial intelligence called “Jack” who is her friend in virtual reality. The magic of VR happens because you buy into the immersive illusion and suspend disbelief. It kind of sneaks up on you.

This is not an exercise in futuristic sounds. It’s very organic, with mostly real instruments, including a dulcimer!

‘MY2’ – or Murder You 2 – is a remarkable introduction to an incredibly special new artist: TS Graye. At just seventeen years old, the Bristol singer-songwriter packs an almighty punch with her first release; powerful, smoky vocals glide atop smooth beats and neat production touches, with dark yet humorous lyricism inspired by her love of horror movies (fact: if she wasn’t a musician, she’d be pursuing a career as a make-up artist for horror shows).

As ambitious and uncompromising as ever, ‘Silently Screaming’ delivers a melodically addictive dose of what you’d expect from the guys – seismic guitar tones, multi-layered synths, driving rock rhythms, earworm hook-lines and epic stadium rock overtones. Having wielded their craft for over 20 years together, RAYNE allies Ben Potts (Vox/Bass), Adam Dagg (Guitar/Synths) and Steven ‘Nez’ Naisbet (Drums/Samples) are a formidable force and creative unit.
