Tim Atwood Previews New Song “Mom” for Mother’s Day

Tim Atwood has played behind some of the greatest country music performers of all time. For 38 years he played in the staff band at the world-famous Grand Ole Opry, performing alongside everyone from Garth Brooks to Carrie Underwood to Jeannie Seely. Over those years Atwood developed a reputation as one of the most polished and energetic performers to claim that stage.

In 2018, Atwood takes a step back into center stage as a solo artist, where his star is shining brighter than ever. The Opry veteran is managing a busy live show schedule, with television appearances, radio interviews, and readying his third solo album – appropriately titled Livin’ The Dream – due out this summer, independently.

Bo from Sheila and the Kit quotes the dance moves of Alex Cameron in the video. Cameron is an Australian artist who both inspires and irritates him.

Sun-Dried Vibes provide a fresh twist to the reggae/rock genre with their high-energy live performances that crank out infectious sing-a-longs laced with a positive message. Since their inception in 2010, the group has performed around 275 dates a year. The trio of road warriors have two previous full-length albums under their belt.

Moe Raw – “Airbags”

Airbags was conceived on the banks of Crystal Lake, over hoisin salmon and a SeLf album made with toys. Tejumold Newton laid some drums and textures and I started to play this geometric bass groove on the MPC. It had a “Dr. Dre 2000” kind of vibe to it. I spoke the verses and did some raggedy harmonies on the hook. The tracks got lost, so I had to recreate it for this project. Matic Lee and I approached it from a looser angle and rubbed some Funkenstein on it. Turned out perfect.
