BOSTON CALLING MUSIC FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES ITS 2018 FOOD & DRINK LINEUP

Boston Calling announces its largest food and drink lineup to date. With over 150 menu items to choose from this year, the festival rolls out a lineup of incredible new restaurants, chefs and food vendors alongside several returning favorites. Plenty of local and international craft beers and wines will round out this year’s menu. Boston Calling takes place Memorial Day Weekend, May 25-27, 2018 at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston (65 North Harvard Street, Boston).

Boston Calling’s food & drink offerings in General Admission and VIP will be folded directly into the festival’s expanded layout this year allowing festival goers to catch performances from the likes of Eminem, The Killers, Jack White, and more, while choosing from over 35 local restaurants and vendors, 11 of which are new. Boston’s wood-fired favorite Area Four joins the food & drink lineup this year, as does Cambridge’s Commonwealth and its array of chef driven sandwiches, local cult favorite Union Square Donuts, the mobile Middle Eastern standout, The Chubby Chickpea, and Jaju Pierogi, to name a few.

Howlin Rain Announce ‘The Alligator Bride’ Out June 8

Howlin Rain has announced the release of their fifth album, ‘The Alligator Bride,’ due June 8 via founding member Ethan Miller’s artist run label, Silver Current Records. A set of swampy, ragged, and unapologetic rock ‘n’ roll, Miller’s merry band of pranksters tracked the record over three days with engineer Eric “King Riff” Bauer at the Mansion in San Francisco, playing live to tape and cutting the material in first and second takes. The first single and title track was premiered by NPR Music’s Songs We Love. It’s available Friday, April 6 at all digital music providers.

Today, RCA Records officially announces the signing of LA-based boyband BROCKHAMPTON to the label’s stellar roster. Founded by Kevin Abstract, BROCKHAMPTON consists of fourteen kids, all filling different roles to create a self-sufficient creative enterprise. Made of rappers, directors, photographers, engineers, producers, graphic designers, and DJs, the group is able to execute a fully unified and realized artistic vision.

Initially announced on March 30, along with an assist from Jaden Smith, Kevin Abstract explains the group’s decision to sign with the iconic label via Instagram: “They understood that we wanted to be the biggest boyband in the world and I’m a firm believer in not being able to do everything on your own.
