Rock band Another Lost Year announced the Blazing into Spring Tour featuring No Resolve and special guest Locust Grove. The tour kicks off April 13th in Lombard, Illinois at Brauer House and will conclude on April 29th at The Looney Bin in Bradley, Illinois. The video for single, “Call It Like It Is”, from their upcoming album due out in 2018 originally premiered on Loudwire.com and can now be seen on Vevo at the following link.

Los Angeles straightedge hardcore outfit BERTHOLD CITY, featuring members of Strife, World Be Free, Internal Affairs, Final Fight, One Choice, Allegiance, and more, has issued the first official video from their debut EP, Moment Of Truth. AK Patterson today announce release details of their debut EP ‘Shadows’, produced by Charlie Andrew (Alt J, Marika Hackman) and due out on 6 July, 2018 through Andrew’s own Square Leg Records, in partnership with East City. Miss Eaves Releases Title Track For ‘Barry & Joe: The Animated Series’

Barry & Joe: The Animated Series released a theme song today, written and performed by Brooklyn rapper Miss Eaves, with production by KEISHH and additional vocals by Lea Anderson. Currently in development by its creator Adam Reid, the animation production company Titmouse and Conan O’Brien are on board as executive producers for the animated series which is described as a “bromantic comedy” featuring Barack Obama and Joe Biden traveling through time in search of a brighter future. Barry & Joe: The Animated Series, received critical praise internationally and backing from thousands of people who pledged more than $100,000 on Kickstarter to successfully fund the campaign in August 2017.

Stadiums & Shrines announce ‘Dreams’ compilation

Today, Stadiums & Shrines announce their 10th anniversary compilation, Dreams, with a new single from New Zealand’s Yumi Zouma, titled “France (Grands Boulevards)”. This special collection of ambient and experimental music include contributions from Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Bing & Ruth, Mutual Benefit, Julie Byrne, Ricky Eat Acid & more. The double LP and gatefold book, with three digital bonus tracks, is available from Cascine on June 15, prefaced by a panel discussion at Moogfest in May.

Bluesman Lifer Mike Zito to Release ‘First Class Life” May 11th

There may not be a more honest bluesman than Mike Zito, whose 15th album ‘First Class Life’ comes out May 11 on Ruf Records. The rocking yet poignant title track explores his journey from addiction to sobriety and then musical recognition; he is a two-time 2017 Blues Music Award nominee. “Second chance at a first class life,” he sings, recalling the hard times. The Texas-based musician smiles and continues, “I grew up poor in St. Louis, and now I’m travelling the world to sing my songs.”

Zito’s star has been on the rise of late both solo and as a member of the Royal Southern Brotherhood, with bandmates Cyril Neville, Devon Allman, Charlie Wooten and Yonrico Scott.

After legal distribution restrictions limiting soul-punk rockers Polish Club from releasing their music outside of Australia, the duo–David Novak and John-Henry Pajak–are riding guitar riffs from hell all the way to the U.
