The 502s – ‘What To Do’ single
In August 2017, The 502s released a live video, featuring all six members of the band and their instruments squeezed into their grandfather’s charming 6×10 laundry room, strumming and singing their forthcoming single What To Do, – a light, folk pop tune packed full of ebullient trumpet lines and infinitely memorable sing-along vocals. It’s a carefree showcase of the band’s collective persona, illustrating simultaneously a lightheartedness in manner, a charming do-it-yourself deftness, and a magnetism in character infrequently found within the prevailing musical landscape. “That’s my favorite video of us,” says singer/songwriter/banjoist Ed Isola. “It kind of encapsulates the fun energy of it. We put that out and it’s got a really good response.”
“SUBTERRANEAN” is a sophisticated body of work consisting of dark basslines, triumphant leads, mesmerizing synths, hard hitting drums and angelic vocals by an unveiled vocalist. “ESTRANGED” is a weapon of a tech/club banger. Unrelenting drums, nostalgic synths and a heavy bassline all lead to an electrifying release. This will set any size room on fire.
